Ah, KG, you're killin' me over he're!!

You know I feel you, like your pic too :D don't be shy, thug life! (j/k).

I was gonna post in your first thread but had a hard time formulating an answer.....

the right words were just not there. But yeah, ya know, I DO have a preference for black guys, I just do.

I might think a white male is attractive but he doesn't give me that tight tingly feeling.

Why this has occured or how it did, is your guess is as good as mine. I have my theories though, but it's all love baby! Cause I have ta admit the brothas got that somethin' somethin' going on!

I will admit it, I am really really into WW. Thus, I'm here. I still like all sorts of ethnicities, including black women. It's just that when I see a pretty WW as opposed to a pretty BW, the pretty WW gives me an adrenaline rush unlike no other.

On top of that, I am the gentleman who likes blondes more. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being extra picky, I'm just saying what I like. I still am open to any kind of WW or any woman for that matter.

metaphorically: Just because I would prefer a BMW doesn't mean I wouldn't buy anything else.

    DEaling w/.....Preferences.......

I prefer white women exclusively.I used to have a hard time coming to terms with that idea, but now I celebrate it.
What else can I tell you?

I hear you man. I just love white women and that's all I've dated for the past several years. Once you know what you want, then you gotta go for it!

Well, I didn't read this entire thread, because all the over-analysis is a turn-off, but the facts of the matter are:

    1. In itself, having a preference is neither right nor wrong. People who only date there own (the major "preference" out there) are never questioned about it; only those who date just a group that's not "their own"...

    2. Most people have such preferences, whether they admit it or not (even to themselves)...

    3. Some preferences are seen as more "wholesome" than others, since controlling certain moves among certain groups is a major issue in our society. For example, a black woman who professes her love for black men is seen as more healthy and wholesome than a black man who professes his love for white women. And a white man who loves black women is more acceptable ("open-minded; progressive; anti-racist") than a black man who loves white women ("rapist; self-hating; feral").

    4. Preferences change as you go along. Some people go through phases. At some point in my life, I've "preferred" almost every kind of woman. And from what I pick up, there are plenty of white women out there who indulge a "preference" for black men, dating (or fucking) a string of them, before settling down with a white man... Or those who would have nothing to do with a black man early in life, but discover a "preference" for them in their middle age...

I loved reading the thread. Great points were made, I learn from it.

    Stand by your preference!

    sorry for bad forum etiquette

My two cents- this is so relevant

If a man is attracted to only one particular color of women than his attraction amounts to no more than a fetish- it means you have succeeded in simplifying and objectifying an entire group of women. It does not seem logical or natural and it goes the same for women. If a women is only attracted to one particular shade of a man than she has succeeded in dehumanizing him, fetishizing him, and objectifying him.

    Dealing with.........

I respectfully disagree, because there are other criteria involved. I seek compatibility and chemistry first. To suggest that because I exclusively seek white female companionship that I am reducing this to a mere objectification to me is amiss. Other components have to fall into place.Intelligence, empathy, ticklishness, a love of the arts.....etc.

I just know who I am now, and I am a black male who wants to be with a white woman. But you have to understand, not just ANY white woman in some blind, in discriminant sense.

One of my favorite indulgences is Vanilla Swiss Almond.Other companies besides Haagen Dazs make a version of it. But I don't just go for just ANY Vanilla Swiss Almond. Even though I love my Vanilla Swiss Almond, generally, if it isn't rich , smooth, creamy, and delightful like Haagen Dazs, I have to pass on it.

In other words, any white woman who applies for the job of my heart is going to have that first look, but as we go through the proverbial "interview," she can't just say "give me the job because I'm white.!"There are other things......

    Two cents here.

    Re: Dealing with.........

    I understand.

I wouldn't settle for just any black man either. If a met a white man that I was compatible with and who fit my criteria concerning character and mindset I would settle for him too.
Mostly it's still black men that I'm more compatible with.
And now I am in a relationship with a wonderful man. There were 2 other guys that showed interest in me at the same time I met him but even though my female friends told me to pick one particular one,I made a different choice.

So concluding I would say I have a preference but it's nothing exclusive. It all depends on the individual man.

I don't know why a lot of people think having a preference must automatically be ra-cist.
Some people got a thing for blondes and nobody criticizes them for it.
Or others feel attracted to people with a certain body type mostly.
Again no critics to those poople.
