pensacola,fl if not florida is the hardest place

I think fl is one of the hardest places to get hooked up with a ww...I mean i live in pensacola and man thats got to be one of the ruffest things to do...I am attracted to WW but..the chances are slim...its either got to be beacuse iam not tryin hard enough are florida is one of the hardest places to get hooked up with a good lookin WW..give me any advice plz thx..

 

redfox, I lived in pensacola in the 70s and that is where I started dating WW. I lived on the NAS base so it was a safe and diverse place but Pensacola off base is a very conservative place, because it is an extension of Alabama. Did you not know that Northern Florida is still the deep south?

try jacksonville and just about anywhere to the immediate south and southwest.... the panhandle is hardly considered florida.

I'm in Pensacola, yet leaving in a couple of months. Pensacola is a "black hole", for the only way of getting out of this city is either by going to college or joining the military; if you don't do that then you are likely going to end up living here. A lot of my high school friends that didn't go to college are here: working at a bank, retail stores, and the electricity company.

Women: I went to the clubs, Seville and Capt'n Fun (downtown area); it was difficult to hook-up. Another factor which has caused problems is the military officers; I'm not disrespecting the military or anything, for the women here tend to go for them because they have the money and "the guy in uniform".

Music: We don't have a hip-hop station, so I listen to 93 WBLX; the station is located in Mobile, AL. In Pensacola, there are seven country music stations, a few rock stations, and station that plays "old school music" (Temptations and others), but no hip-hop stations here.

Jobs: The jobs here are lousy. I recently graduated from UWF, so before graduating I have been trying to find a job in the area; the only job was a contract job for the Navy, so I didn't go for it. A little over a year ago I went to the Job Fair at the civic center; however, there was nothing for me: delivering newspaper to various vendors, working at a garbage center, operating the score board for the hockey team, etc.

Myself: I remember being at a job interview for a company in Pensacola, the week before I went to the job fair at the civic center, they told me that I have a "lack of experience", so they picked a guy from Tallahassee instead of me.

 

damn....thats messed up and 99 percent that you have said about pensacola is mostly correct... Rock 101 and cool 97 plays hip hop music you are in to that kind of thing.. Hmmm and about the jobs you should of looked for either a hotel job or a retail job..very good jobs that doesnt require experince becuase you will gain them when you work there... I recently just started working at old navy at cordova mall ..... too be blunt the girls suck.. :/ well maybe iam being too harsh..but pretty much the good girls are taken and the ones that arent are way too shy and already like somebody else lol so it is tough no bs on that.. When i graduate iam either going to stay someone in florida not pensacola or iam moving to japan with my uncle whos already there... hmm have you ever been to the beach down here? and pockets(pool hall) and stuff?

 

Thanks for the stations I'll check it out. I have been everywhere in this city and the beach. I was driving on 9th Ave. the other day and saw smoke coming out of the Cajun Cafe. Have you been to Japan before?
About old navy do they pay you hourly or commission? Maybe I'll stop by and you could sell me some cacky pants. In a few hours I am going to see the movie, "Black Snake Moan."

 

lol no problem.. no I never been to japan before but since my uncle bascially has stayed there with his wife and kids..iam sure it would be in no time I get on my feet over there since I do know someone that is experinced 8) .. hmmm dont want to be racial or anything but there is a pro and a con working in old navy...the pro is mostly everyone who works there is white... this doesnt mean you wont get hired.. becuase iam black .. BUT! well..... how can I say it... they will treat you differnetly..its not a good or bad thing its just no way getting around it.. :/ sadly enough theres 1 black manager there... :/ the one thing I hate is stuck up blackgirls lol.. This is a MAJOR MINUS!..but if you can get around that it should be no problem working there... hmmm oh and they play hourly.. Old Navy is not a job you would want to keep..but it is a job that you would want Now.. ive been working there for 2 months.. if this hasnt turned you off thus far and you would want to apply here is the link.. once you applied if you apply..call 1 day later.And about those cacky jeans or anything..with jeans I highly suggest you get some in storage up top...those clothes are fked up out in the floor... but yeah dude...its not that many black dudes in Oldnavy..iam pretty sure you will see me one day if you go in there.. Whoa...stop. I am not asking for a job (I have a job), but thanks for the information though. I was at the Old Navy yesterday (Saturday) afternoon. "Black Snake Moan" is a movie that was just released staring Samuel Jackson; the movie was good.
