Paula Abdul Joins Cheryl Cole On X Factor USA Panel

X Factor USA finalized its line up this weekend with Paula Abdul joining the judging panel at the very last minute.



Abdul lines up alogside Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Cheryl Cole on the panel. It is her first judging role since she appeared on American Idol, alongside Cowell. It was also confirmed over the weekend that Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger will host the programme when it launches later on in the year.

Abdul turned up three hours late to the official launch of X Factor USA press conference held in Los Angeles yesterday (Sunday May 8th) after spending time negotiating her contract for the show. Speaking to reporters, she said nothing except: "I'm here." Cheryl Cole was happy to see Paula though, saying: "I'm excited I get to meet her, I've heard such lovely things about her."
