I'm just saying, if two women were equal in nearly every way that you find preferable and the only difference was skin color, you would chose one over the other based on something you said doesn't exist except for society saying that it does.

I know that some argue race is a made up thing because outside of skin color and superficial differences like hair and facial features, there aren't hard biological differences among people with different skin colors.

However race, which to me is just skin color and facial features,(Caucasian, Asian, African), can be an indicator of ethnicity and culture. So in that sense it is a real thing.

This board is dedicated to people who have an affinity or preference for people with certain racial traits or features, not saying that's the only thing, but if we didn't care about or appreciate racial differences among people, none of us would be here.

 

I have all sorts of preferences and it's all based on this subjective part of being human called attraction.

Long legs, tall, accents, alto voice especially in French, long hair, and that's just some of the physical traits not to mention others.

Someone being attracted to how light bounces off another person's skin doesn't give credence to this social construct called race in the slightest.

The only thing that exists is her skin and the electromagnetic waves from sunlight Whether I'm attracted or not is subjective. And if race was real it wouldn't be subjective. People don't even speak of it as being subjective and it has never even been applied that way on an institutional level.

Saying race could be an indicator of something real is just weak. If it can't stand alone it isn't real to begin with.

Talk to someone else that think it's real and see if they view it as only being an indicator of something else. To them it stands alone just like anything else that isn't subjective.



Race is defined as a subcategory of species. Whether I like "white" skin or not has nothing to do with it.

You're basically saying race is real because someone cherry picked human features that are visible. Listen to yourself and stop before you sink further.

 

Some times jokes are often an scapegoat for other feelings and you just proved it calling it an "obsession" which is what I thought you felt; I was just waiting for you to say it. Wouldn't have to ask you to stop with the jokes if you didn't have a problem to go on and on about it in the first place and ignored things that aren't actually bothering you. I didn't have a problem with the jokes until you showed right here mentioning her name in unrelated thread and your last post in the Bella Hadid thread that you seem bothered.

Be direct yourself and just say you don't like her and you don't like that I post about her. And if it bothers you that much like I said It was a SUGGESTION not me telling you what to do to just don't go in a thread that bothers you. That's what I learned to do.
