Wow you sent this a while ago but Im just seeing it for the first time. Im new to the whole forum thing. Im still trying to figure out how do you know when someone replied to your post?? So far I have just seen replies from browsing only. No alert like with an email account. Anyway... it is wrong to judge, especially since I am the same now. Im already addicted to see what people are talking about. Some of it is ...whatever and some very interesting so far. I wish there was a military section here. Maybe there is but I just didnt see it yet. I am looking for a forum about military now even though this one is okay too. I have some serious guilt issues that seem to haunt me these days from combat. Tired of hearing "its not your fault". Yes I know that but I think I still have the right to feel what I feel because I believe I could have prevented a fatal accident. The army will tell you what you need to hear so you can get back onto the battlefield without being distracted if a similar situation occurs, etc. Hey, thanks for your input to my other post. You helped me a lot just saying what you felt, no sugar coating. I cant tell you how much I appreciated your words. The great Jay mind does have faults after all. Im not trained to think that I could ever be wrong. I must make instantaneous decisions for whatever situation Im in. No time to second guess myself. That sucks because I end up taking that attitude into the civilian world and also in to my relationship. Not Good at all when dealing with "normal" people and normal daily situations. Too much military...LOL Thanks again!!!

Depression is crippling!!! I only knew depressed people and actually thought depressed = depression. NOT TRUE!!!

Im still learning about depression and its effects on individuals. I still dont know enough and I have not experienced enough to even come close to fully understanding depression I think.

Keep your head up on those dark days. Okay... see Im still thinking 'depressed', not 'depression'. Like I said ... I dont fully understand it.

LOL thanx but I was speaking in general about depression. I myself do not suffer from depression, I mean I have my random depression bouts here and there like everybody else, but Im not depressed in the clinical sense. Yesterday when I wrote that I was feeling kinda down and out, but I feel way better today.

 

I always thought I was the only guy who thought that lol. Not to mention as lame as this sounds werewolves make more sense to me than vampires. They literally eat people yet the women in these stories always expect to be the exception and the whole lifeless thing always made me wonder about sex and other physical interaction. I know I'm looking for logic in the illogical but the shit always bugged me.

 

Overrated:
Voting... My mom and I just got into an argument becuse I told her Im not voting today. Im not voting because when I vote I want to vote for someone I truly believe in, I dont wanna vote for someone just because their democrat etc. Also I think its bs how Democrats and Republicans hog up all the air time. If people would do more research on Independents they might find a better match for their political views at that time. Some people disgust me because they vote just because a person is apart of the party they go for, they dont know shit about the candidate other than their affiliated with the party they like, that is fucking bs. That is just as bad as people who voted for Obama just because he was black. I need to atleast agree with 75% of a persons policies before I vote for them.

Underrated:
Independent parties
The power of not voting : if done in large numbers would be a huge F U to politicians. I always thought it would be classic to turn on cnn one day and them say no one went to vote during an election, I mean the subtle message that would send would be great. On the flipside yea it could backfire and allow the people you dont like to stay in office but at the same time it would be a passive aggressive way a telliing the gov't to step their shit up.

 

Overrated: America being a powerful nation unable to be surpassed by other nations. Just look at the awful ass test scores and shorter school years. Can't say on top with that shit.
