I like to give out compliments to those that are deserving. I also don't like when someone compliments me and you can tell it's just a "gas your head up" compliment or one that everyone else has gotten and I don't deem those as special. When given a unique compliment, that I accept graciously. Some people say things because they think that's what you want to hear. Then on the flip-side, you have people who won't dare to compliment you cause they think if they say something, your ego will inflate or that they're giving up some of their power by saying something (this has been my experience with some men).
OK i am 5ft 7 inches so if you see me and say hey there TALL dark handome i'm gonna look at you sideways period! Anyway i am guilty as charged cuz i have told a few plain janes they could be the next Gucci model and quite frankly it gets you in panties unbelievably fast but then i was young drunk and horny so it doesn't really count does it?
There are two different aspects of over complimenting. 1. Would be the words you use to classify a person can come off as over complimenting. 2. Would be the amount of times you compliment a person,counts as over complimenting (like if every 10 secs you tell someone that theyre beautiful). I only discussed the 1st aspect of over complimenting. This thread sorrta went off course, but its w/e. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that doesnt change the fact that over complimenting does exist. If it didnt then there wouldnt be a term called "over complimenting". If you ask a population of 10 million people if someone is ugly and all but one says someone is ugly is it a coincidence that 9,999,999 said the person was ugly? Its all about how you look at it. At the end of the day, love who love and be happy.
Yeah I agree with the over-complimenting thing, as a extremely average looking facewise woman myself I do find it odd if someone starts to wax lyrical, even a bit uncomfortable with a couple of boyfriends. Like maybe they are taking the piss, which doesn't shake off easily I'm realistic when I look at men women on the forum, I must say no one knocks me dead with there beauty. But I recognise some very appealing looks in our group on here, Ls and Russia represent what I would say is typical good looks. Tarshi is impish and appealing. Others I look on with impassiveness cus I generally don't like em. As to the men well you got some hot bods and butterfaces on here, my special preference is Max as he appeals to my criterior of beauty in a man. I certainly wouldn't bother complimenting a man if I found nothing remotely interesting in there appearance. But I do understand that over time as we get to know each other better, you do end up seeing people as more attractive.
