Hi, Im a 22 years-old french-canadian girl. Born and raised in Quebec but currently living in France for a few months... English isnt my native language so sorry in advance for possible "weird" sentences I may make. Welcome to the site Ottavie. Do you live not far from Paris and is there a difference between The French and French Canadians? For example do the French think French Canadians act more American?
Oh yes, a huge difference. People from Quebec have a lifestyle, a way of thinking and a way of working from far more close to Americans than French and Europeans in general. Quebecers are also much more enterprising, dynamic and obviously less grumpy than French. (yup the typical and eternally dissatisfied and moaning frenchmen/women isnt a stereotype) And this isnt chauvinism since I have the both nationalities.
