I don't think I saw a topic on this. Well it's an old story and I'm not sure if this was the right place to put this but so-called news anchor Bill O'Reilly visited an African-American owned restaurant and met with Al Sharpton, I'm sure all of you heard about that. Well, in case there some who don't know, he said that he was surprised to see there were no extracirricular stuff going on, and no yelling. I'm just paraphrasing here. He also stated that this was overblown by CNN and the liberal media. I have been to African-American owned businesses and the people who own and work at them, and their customers, don't act like gangstas. What is worse is that O said that African-Americans are starting to think for themselves instead of relying to the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Pretty ignorant on his part. He has tried to put the blame on CNN for making him a villain. I'm just curious to how some you feel about O'Reilly in regards to what he said (even though this is a couple of months old), and overall.
Jackson and Sharpton did not heap on him like they did on Imus because they just want the spotlight on his show. It was ironic since O'Reilly bad mouthed Jackson in the past. The Big Mouth wants some "blackup".
I've seen this being discussed on youtube. To be honnest nothing O'Reilly says shocks me anymore. I don't take him seriously at all. He's such a stereotypical conservative american that I actually find him quite entertaining. I can't believe people are buying half the shit he says. (Like "there is no such things as greys when it comes to values" :lol: Give me a break, everyone knows that if there's one place you'll find greys it's when it comes to values!) They don't broadcast his show here, but he's so silly he's actually one of the people I like to look up on youtube when I need a laugh. (Not lieing!)
O'Reilly once in a while gets letters from Sweden and Denmark. Most of them don't like him. He did a report on Denmark when he worked for Inside Edition years back.
He hates all of Scandinavia. We're all going to hell. We're completly without moral and good ol' christian values. I've heard him use us as a "bad" example several times. I like him though. He's amuzing. Not voluntairly of course, but who cares.
Oh yeah, and the way he'll always build up his "arguments" by starting to yell... :smt005 It's obviously a very effective way of arguing, since we all know it's the one with the loudest volume who's right... Nothing says "inteligence and knowledge" like a little bit of screaming :smt081
Oh yeah, if it's not completely clear by now. Of the people here who actually knows who O'Reilly is, half of them are offended and hate him. The other half simply consider him a clown. :lol:
O'Reilly is not only a blow hard but a powerful one. Has anyone read the book The Man Who Won't Shut Up? O'Reilly had everyone on any Fox News show not to have the author promote that book.
Ronja, O'Reilly thinks Scandinavia,Europe,and other places in the US are hotbeds for Secular Progressive thinking.

You're improving O'Reilly hates everything that's not ultra conservative, white, male, christian and American... so, pretty much the whole planet but himself... That's no secret at all...
He always brings this label to the people he disagrees with. When someone finds the truth he spins it and says don't go on those left wing websites. He thinks he's a cult leader. Ronja had you seen Keith Obermann and Dan Abrams shows in your country?
I'll occasionally watch them on-line (msnbc) or just parts of their shows on youtube. I only have the standard channels the local cable network provide me with. That doesn't include any other American channels but CNN. Don't really miss it though... I don't watch a lot of TV, so I'm content as long as I have the Scandinavian channels and BBC... Why?
Personally: I don't like O'Reilly at all. This man is a racist creep. Why pay attention to this man? He is a waste of time.
