Well....I think it's very complicated. On one hand, we can say the system is not built for us. I went to school in new orleans and lets just say a lot of schools really do not give a shit about us. Teachers wouldn't even be teaching properly, the school looked horrible, the food was garbage etc. So the kids would be all wild. But thankfully, I made it out of there and now I'm in London studying for a bit but I will be back in N.O for 2011.

On the other hand, us black people have our own problems that we need to deal with. One of them is not looking at ourselves and saying "We Fucked Up". It's always hip hop did it, Lil wayne did it, Crack Cocaine Did it, The Older Generation did it , Black women did it, Black Men did it etc. Thats why we need niggas like Malcom x, who was on that reality shit.

We talked about that on another thread. Blacks are the least likely to flip dollars with in their own community. I often wonder why black businessmen don't take advantage of the cheap African labor market and make sneakers and sell them in black neighborhoods. Fuck nike. Or if they're worried about brand competition buy the shit wholesale and put them in the hoods. I remember in hs when Jordans came out literally every black kid who could afford them got them. There's so much money to be made there. Even like you said with hair products there is no reason in the world why asians are making more money in a marketa black woman started. Just buy the hair cheap from third world countries and sell it here in the neigghborhoods women are buying them in. We simply don't trust each other and would much rather see another white person rich before someone black. That crabs in a barrel shit is so real.

Personally, I dont use their stores for anything because I can get it from somewhere else cheaper and closer (im not racist ). Meanwhile, all these joints are buying horse hair weaves and shit.
