I think the thing that was so goofy is that it was a cold Friday night, he's sitting by the fire with a drink and he was (presumably) flirting with a pretty woman and he misses his dog? He has a dog, btw. I think ppl here are right - he was trying to make a joke and it fell flat.
I have had a couple of my most significant relationships since my divorce as a result of meeting someone online and really connecting with them through endless nights of chats, then e-mails, then texts and ultimately phone calls. By the time we met the connection was visceral and real. It could go either way, I guess. You could meet really phony people or the initial distance could enable you to get to know the person without the charades and image that people try to project at first meetings. That could help you really share your thoughts and feelings in a way that is occasionally more real than a face-to-face encounter.
O4,that is the best way to meet a person in real life. It is a step by step prossess. On Tagged I get these responses from young women that are too good to be true:They say hi and then recommend another site which is unknown to me. If that chat site is not on Google it is suspect.
Ladies, watch this: http://www.bravotv.com/online-dating-rituals-of-the-american-male/season-1 Bravo channel, Thursday @10 EST PS: The premiere starred Marcus Pierce, not only handsome, but definitely had his head on straight.
Cool I don't think I have Bravo at work. I've always loved dating shows, even back in middle school and high school I would watch elimidate, the 5th wheel, and blind date until 2AM everyday. I just find dating itself so fascinating.
Blind Date, The 5th Wheel, Change Of Heart, Rendezview and Next were my favorite dating shows. Before Roger Lodge did Blind Date, he was in a remake of the sci-fi classic Not Of The Earth with porn starlet Tracy Lords(one of her first straight roles after porn). I liked Hell Date, too, even though it was a satire.
Hell yeah! Next was the best! It always had my stomach in knots when someone got nexted straight off the bat. Guy: :smt080 Hi my name is.... Woman: NEXT!!! Also Room Raiders and Parental Control was the shit too!!! Man that was when MTV had decent reality shows!
Next had a lot of combinations. Straight, lesbian, bi. It was funny when the person gets off the RV only to see the person that they are meeting say, " Next! " Sometimes they would say next after the person takes two steps away from the RV. Parental Control really pushed buttons. That was very original.
They really need to bring em back. The way some of them kids talked to the parents was pure hilarity.
Yeah, that was funny on Parental Control. And sometimes that language was also threatening. I sometimes got a big kick out of when the girl is making out with the new guy and the boyfriend and her parents are watching. The boyfriend, naturally doesn't like it and is royally pissed. But her parents are happy about it.
