they may as well scream 'go back to africa!'

    sad...

how come no one refuted george bush's citizenship

    :p

you know, if they deny his birth certificate, they may as well deny all of them

Damn. This is like like during slavery and a black person who was not a slave would have to show their "freedom papers" in order to go out in public. Even though we have seen documented proof and evidence about Obama's birth, they "STILL" want "HIM" to show the birth certificate.

This racism is killing me inside.:smt042:smt043

thing is..no one's going to outright say 'we dont want no stinkin' N**** as president,' so instead, they cling to things like 'he's a muslim' or 'he's not an american citizen.'

just come out and say you don't like black people...really

    ;)

    lol

it was about one of the more backwards portions of the US, doing anything they could to remove a brotha from the white house, without directly announcing they're racist.

I remember a quote by Malcom saying that he has much more respect for someone who openly admits that they're racist as opposed to someone who resorts to hiding behind it.

Then again I'm convinced that some people will never be happy because they're not happy with themselves.:smt023

they're hiding behind the illusion that Mr Obama isn't an American citizen. Why don't they just say 'take your cornbread and get out the white house.'

I agree with Malcom on that one. If you're racist, live up to it. We all know you (no not the literal you) are anyway.

Y'al should know better! Practicing racism on your face does not benefit the racist. Calling me a Jig, a monkey, a chimp or whatever the fuck does not benefit the caller. Most ppl don't practice that type of old fashion racism anymore. The new wave is- hey buddy, I am on your side, I ain't racist, I love blk ppl, etc... but meanwhile underming the advancement and success of African descents. This seems to be one of the best effective way of practicing racism in today's America; it is called racism under the table. So why should one admit that he/she is a racist? How is that gonna do them good? They are smarter than what we give them credit for.

    or, 'institutionalized' racism..

you know...the stuff you don't really have concrete proof of, but know it happens regardless..

like the advancement of white males up the leadership ladder, while everyone else scratches their heads

I heard this quote from Malcolm X too on one of Ice Cube's album. It goes something like this:

" ....Speaking as a black man from America, which is a racist society no matter how much you hear it talk about democracy, racism in Portugal, racism in South Africa etc. The only difference is South Africa preaches separation and practice segregation. America preaches integration and practice segregation. They don't practice what they preach! I have more respect for a man who lets me know where he stands, even if he is wrong, than one who comes up like an angel but is nothing but a devil! "

Here's a famous case of someone very famous in France and the rest of Francphonie, admitting on national TV, in a top rated TV show, that he was racist toward black people.

    http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/Gerard+de+villiers/video/x1toyi_ardisson-gerard-de-villiers-raciste_politics

The name of the man is GĂ©rard de Villiers famous for writing the the spy novel series SAS from 1965 which tells the adventures of the Austrian prince and CIA agent Malko Linge.

    http://www.malkolinge.com/

The journalist Thierry Ardisson was trying to set him up on a comment he made 30 years ago about black people when he said that he'd rather "Hang out with a dumb white person than an intelligent black person".

Ardisson was expecting him to take the denial route and give the pathetic ultra PC speech, but he bluntly said that he still stand by what he had said 30 years ago merely because it was gregarious instinct. He always felt more comfortable around Italians, Swiss etc than around Africans.

Instead of causing an uproar in the black community in France, he earned the respect for being honest and saying outloud what the majority of French people thought and how they felt deep down. He exposed the hypocrites in the show Tout le monde en parle. De Villiers didn't insult black people, he just admitted that he was never comfortable around them because they were precisely that: black, different, with very little in common with white people.

So you see, you don't have to insult people, use racial epithets, or try to justify or conceal your racism behind statistics, inane racial theories like Gobineau etc. It's not the fact that so many whites are racists that irritate black people all over the world, it's the fact that they try to justify that racism or hide it behind the notion that there's something inherently bad, hateful with all of us.

Slavery was a crime against humanity. They tried to justify it. Colonialism was another crime, and they justify it by saying that they needed to "civilized" the Africans, the "white man's burden". Why don't they just say it outright that "they needed natural ressources, and since we weren't considered humans at the time and we were defenseless, they just came, killed millions, stole the land and pillaged the ressources to make most of Europe rich?

It's the same with Obama. Most of his critics that are white just have a problem with him because he's half-black, so they hide behind the muslim, terrorists, his association with his pastor etc. Just tell us why you despise the man and don't hide behind silly and desperate accusaitons. In any society, I'd rather know who is who rather than having to suffer the snide remarks and endure the blatant hypocrisy.

Racist white people are now realizing that this country is becoming more and more, not their country any more, (it never was but they don't understand that)like the 70s, 80s and 90s. Minorities numbers are increasing, while theirs are not, hell white folks are the minority worldwide. And with Obama as President to boot, they are now loosing their minds. These changing of the gaurds are not sitting well with them, they are starting lash out. Its kinda funny yet sad to sit back and watch them unravel, the pendulum is starting to turn.

There is a saying: "Once a black man knows the game, they change the rules."
