    grape Fruit Roll-Ups

late 80's, early 90's hip hop - SWV, Tevin Campbell, Salt n' Pepa

Michael Jackson before he went to Never, Neverland

    Pizzerias chips

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (we had our own fan club in 3rd grade)

    Rice Krispies Treats cereal

Remember McDonald's pizza? I think I'm the only person that liked that stuff.

Neon everything (actually I don't miss that, but whenever I see neon colors somewhere, it makes yearn for those days again)

People over 30 go to night clubs? I dated a 28-year-old guy for a brief time before I found out he had to go clubbing almost every night, and wasn't planning to give it up anytime soon.

I just don't get people over the age of 25 who go clubbing all the time - esp. obviously over 25-year-old women who put on minis and tank tops to go meet men. Men who frequent those places are prolly looking for a one night stand with a barely legal. There comes a time when you have to grow up. I can see it as a once in a while thing, or if it's more of a small bar type of place (we mostly have old men type of bars here anyway). I've just never been into the night club scene at all personally - too much noise and people in your face.

Getting your car checked while you get gas at the filling station (oil, water, air, ...)

Cheaper gas prices (1.46€/liter are ridiculous :( )

Tears For Fears, Falco, Chaka Khan, Pet Shop Boys, Earth Wind and Fire, Heaven17, ABC, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd ....

Augsburger Puppenkiste, Urrrrrrmeliii, Kleiner König Kalle Wirsch, ...

Relationship multiple choice notes secretly delivered by best friends

I miss my dad's old jazz and soul records. My favorite song as a child was The Manhattan's "Shining Star".

Honey you, are my shining star ........

    I miss those songs.

    Grow up huh?

Let's see I'm 36 and still rock the party, I don't have to club everynight but at the same time there should be a place where you can hang with people in your own age group. Nobody had to say it was a nightly or weekly thing, maybe twice a month would be fine.

I don't drink so there has to be more to nightlife than movies and the local dive...

Its INTERNATIONAL TRAVELING were we people in Europe don't have fucked up attitudes about things many Americans view as a sign of immature behavior.

Besides, clubbing in OHIO is wack anyway.

If it aint NYC, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Vancuver, BC or Miami then it SUCKS and there's nothing you can say to change my mind.

London rocks when Tim Westwood is on the 1's and 2's HOLLA!

The Game is in Copenhagen this Wed, hmmmm

All clubbing, IMO, is wack. Whatever city it is, it's still a bunch of noise and people thinking that they're cool because they can shoot down a bunch of liquor and keep dancing. I can't believe that Detroit would have good clubbing, anyway. I wouldn't go into Detroit after dark unless I wanted to get "whacked" in the head, lol!

<--- Has 5,000 records I think I got that covered

Clubbing isn't wack its fun, you as more then likely take LIFE too seriously.

As I said before, there plenty of 30 somethings out in Oslo, Bergen and Amsterdam, you calling them immature? Are you saying they aren't having any fun?

I can approach a STUNNER in Norway and she'll acknowledge my existence, give me directions or whatever else I ask her, she may not be interested in ME as a person and that's fine, but she's not dissing me just because I'm a MALE.

Its American Women's attitudes that makes clubbing in America SUCK. Men have to pump up more, get nicer cars, make more money just to impress your sorry arses and you still won't talk to them without looking like Tyson Beckford, a 6 figure income, the 7 series BMW and the vacation home in Barbados.

    So what's man to do???

Anything that has interaction with American women is tainted

    Including this FORUM

Put that in your pipe and smoke it and good night from Sodertalje, Sweden (home of Scandia).

The old school thing I really miss is women wearing spandex and bicycle shorts. Nowadays, the only place women wear that is to the gym. I think the spandex era was even sexier than today's lowriding jeans with the thongs.

I miss the 70s funk. Nothing like some EWF or Brothers Johnson. Slap bass is my groove from way back.

I really enjoy Meshell Ndegeocellos skills on the bass as well.

Most of the music I listen to was shit from back in the day, so I don't miss what I always listen to. I do miss the era of when the song came out(90s I mean since that when I was a kid). I miss the days when radio was good. I miss funny djs with personality, not these generic ass fools I hear today, or last heard.
