In the northeast, I've only been to NYC and Boston and have never been to the South for an extended period of time. I get the feeling that both regions have a lot more in common than what the people who live there are willing to let on.

 

I've never lived in the south but the vibe I get is the white people down there are not as quick to cross color lines even socially. Like I've mentioned before we don't have people up here protesting for segregated proms or the abolition of interracial marriage.

That's in every avenue of life I find though. There are girls who will totally date blue collar guys when they're young but wouldn't marry them. They want to be with professionals. I also know plenty of guys who will nail a fat chick but would never date them or older women who will hook up with younger guys like Trix but never take them seriously.
