ok enough with the fat folks ...lets talk about skinny people

that's just so sad c...!!! suffering from an eating disorder when i was 15/16 i know what kind of grip it has on you. there was talk of putting me in a facility that deals with eating disorders back then if i didn't start improving...you can't do that with her though. i think tough love is the way to go until she has some money. maybe counselling...??? i know they have that available over here. in the end, she's the one who will need to do this for herself. please take care of you.

CD, I agree with Tbear. She needs your support and I don't know about out there, but here in America, we have non-profit organizations and government funded programs to help with some disorders. I hope you can find something out there.

Thank you Loki for your reply. I have to commit that would I have known, what comes up to me before, I would never have met her. I was driving to meet her to give her a place to sleep and to work till she found a job. But when I have seen her I didn't want to have her in my bar. She cannot work in public- or at least not at my place. But she was really desperate, so I changed my mind. I have some free rooms for my employees. You are right I could never take her in my private appartment. So I am not really that charitable- but what can I do? She is a human being..

 

I don't think she is willing to go for counselling- she looks like an ex-model, very tall and I assume her face was beautiful- in the past, but she is very proud of her skinny look. She is 41, but honestly said- she looks like 55 to 60. She was eating yesterday, but you could see, how she was disgusted. I will talk to an organization today to inform myself, what I can do. The point is that she is in status like a tourist at the moment. I assume I have to wait and observe her till I can call emergency, so that she comes afterwards automatically into official custody

 

Well, I hope they can advise you. You can lead a horse to water etc. or in this case a human to food, but that's all you can do. She is a grown woman and you're not her keeper. It's sad that she has such an image of herself.
