I guess the Ad agency took the lazy, easy route. Makes me wonder who put it together.

The link worked, I see it. LOL

I'm not sure what you see as the problem with it though.

This is wrong and I don't see how this isn't cruel and unusual punishment.

It's stereotypical. "Look up a someone's criminal background", and they slap a photo next to it of a dark-skinned, black man with dreads?
I can just imagine the model's horror to see his face slapped on that ad.

Then in the split screen ad sitting above his "mug" pic, the other criminal is a White woman. It just reeks.

I always knew that both of our gender specific groups had a similar shared oppression but this was clearly a slap in the face. I'm not gonna use the "r-word", but it's still fucked up. smh

See, I look at that and I see it like they were trying to cover all bases. Male, Female, Black, White (not sure about the other ethnic groups though LOL). And are they models, or are they real mug shots?

I love how traffic tickets were emphasized next to the ww pic (cause we can't drive? hmmmm). lol Stereotyped for sure.

That's better than being called a criminal straight up. I mean damn they're not even trying to hide racism anymore.

LOL, the first thing I thought was "white woman with black man gets in trouble with the law". :D

Wow wonder who the asshole was who put together that add. Could he have been anymore blatant?

    I don't think so. lol

A warning to white women everywhere: proximity to black men leads to trouble. And for all we know, these two may be totally unconnected. In fact, these are probably just two unrelated photos.

that's the way that i viewed it as well. i was going to say something about how it must be our australianism coming out and not getting it, but then kuni is australian as well.

i agree that the wording for the women should reflect what is used for the man.
