Odd combinations between WW/BM

I was wondering how many of you ever noticed seeing a very odd type interracial couple bm/ww. I was in the store the other day and saw this brotha who was with this white woman who appeared to be his wife, yet if he were just standing there I would not guessed him for being with her...This brotha looked very corporate and his wife looked very plain jane, big thick glasses. I just thought of it as very odd combination irregardless of it being interracial.

I have seen big heavy set black guys with very slim or slender type white girls too...once I was out with a lady friend of mines...we would be in stores and such and people would look very much at us like really look in double take...why well my lady friend is in a wheel chair...however she is simply gorgeous ..she was hit by drunk driver that killed her then bf at time. However she is still fine even in a wheel chair...so when we were out I am sure people have never seen a able bodied black man with a white woman like that.

 

I have seen a few interracial couples like that. I have seen athletic black men with larger women. I remember one couple I had met in my first visit to a swing club. The man was a muscular black man(he was a Marine) and his wife was a woman from Iceland. She had blonde hair, glasses and looked like a boy. She didn't say much. The guy did most of the talking, stating that they do everything together. She didn't seem very comfortable in the club but he did. Elizabeth Taylor, before she died, was in the company of a black man. I recall a corporate holiday party at their corporate campus, I met an employee's wife. She happened to be white with brown curly hair. They were both drunk. He told me to hold on to that woman when I find her. His wife asked me for a kiss. The couple, both drunk, drove home(the company hired a bunch of taxis to take everyone who was drunk home). I was relieved when I saw him the next morning.

True story, Bliss. I was a bit of an explorer back then. And I was curious about visiting a swing club. Well, at the end of that day, I found out that the swinging lifestyle was not for me.

 

Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and abilities so there is no hard and fast rule about who one goes out with. I guess love conquers all

I worked with a young women who was a real tomboy. She never wore makeup and only wore baggy pants, and too big t-shirts. Tell you the truth, we all assumed she was a lesbian. But during the office "Winter Holiday" party she prettied herself up nicely, and brought along her thick necked, black boyfriend.



Also, there is a 50-something BM in my mothers church, who remarried a 30-something WW, after he had lost his first wife (who was Black) to cancer. It was a bit of a scandal, especially from some of the Black women in the congregation.
