Sadly all it does is play to stereotypes about white women. It also fetishizes Obama inspite of all his other qualities. I can see this backfiring like it did on Harold Ford.

    Good insight.

There is a strong belief in some circles that many of these “Pro Obama” ads are designed to do just that...
    Backfire.

Think what happened to Howard Dean just because of one little “outburst”.
    And Harold Ford.....

Sometimes I think we [the media] love to find small stuff to tear down people who could have been great leaders.

You know, honestly i've been thinking the same thing. Sooner or later, when Obama gains ground in the primaries, the RNC will pull it out and turn it against him. Just watch and see.

The Obama Girl is all over the web and mentioned on the news opinion shows. I hear Ford's name when I thank of that video. I thought the woman was Black but I was incorrect.

    Oh, you don't say!!!

I just am hopeful that this thing will backfire against the Republicans (because trust me, they'll play the race card with Obama) like it did Kerry Healey against Deval Patrick. She ran negative ads in the Massachusetts gubernatorial election, but Patrick crushed her snippy ass 56%-35% in a four way race. Obviously, Obama will not get such a blowout but i hope it gets them back.

She looks more Indian or Latino than white.

I thought she looked Irish - who knows, we are all mutts.

I think this is just a girl who is looking to get famous and is using this angle for publicity. I don't beleive she is backed by anti-Obama groups. 6 mos ago she thought John Bolton was a singer. Now she found some poltically suave man to help her advance her site and make it more politically 'deep' than just sighing about Obama.

If she keeps getting more publicity, Playboy is going to come around and ask her to pose - and she will. She'll become a celebrity for about 20 minutes instead of 15 and spend the next five years doing silly reality shows. But I'm not cynical!

    Chris Rock alternative

I have to pull a "Chris Rock" right about now. The brother hadn't even made it to the final elections, and already somebody is trying to tare down the brother's image. Is this the same thing that happened to Clinton! Now it applies to Obama (Where is the love?) You know this brother better start right now saying on his campaign, "I didn't do it--I don't know this lady, and will somebody help me."
