That is incorrect. There exists many a Democrats who don't like people soley because of their race.

Philadelphia for example, is approx 49% Black, 51% White. It's almost 100% Democratic. There is a distinct racial line in this city. Think Democratic Boston, known to be one of the most racist cities in the US. To this day in fact....There is also Chicago...

The point is, don't believe the hype that just because one is a Democrat, they are not a racist. They are perhaps just more quiet about it. If you are a racist, you are a racist, it doesn't matter what party you choose to align with. There are are people whom are Conservative, for example, because of a deep commitment of faith and the unborn child - race reasons never factor into their choice of leadership on who decide the laws.
Same with that Democrat who loves Big Government and what not, but personally hates Blacks, or hates Whites.

 

All I know is the party that seems to try and suppress the minority vote happens to be Republican, state officials who say slavery was a blessing in disguise happen to be Republican, people who wave Confederate flags out of old southern nostalgia happen to be Republican or specifically right wing conservatives because I know someone will try the old Republicans freed the slaves line again.
In everyday life those who happen to be more inclusive and tolerant of other people based on race creed religion or sexual orientation happen to be Democrat/progressive.
Do bad things happen in blue states well of course, humans still live there but I have never personally witnessed or read about progressive type people protesting abortion clinics or burning crosses on people's front lawns.
It also doesn't help that staunch right wing supporters never admit to any of the fucked up shit the party does. They live in a bubble where the only thing that matters is expanding business limitlessly regardless of how it affects the people.
Republicans on average are less tolerant of others in general and as a party I rarely if ever see legislation that addresses the concerns of the everyday people. Its all about letting big business address every issue because greed is good no matter who hurts.
I guess what boils down to is ideology for me. The xenophobic exclusionary attitudes that exist in all of us is promoted by the right. If you don't believe it fine but I don't have the inclination as a black male who grew up in this country to see it any differently.
I know for people like you there needs to be a smoking gun in order for you to actually see where the racism exist, visible physical proof that something is going on but think of it this way outside of Iggy, Paniro, and possibly James Wilson(I know his position fiscally and thats about it) how many other black men on this very forum seem to up the same position?

The GOP has not done jack for Black-Americans for a very long time. What did the Black Chruches got after voting against Gay Marriage in Ohio in 2004? Nothing. Plenty? My butt.
