Damn you're cold blooded son lol. I think it says a lot about his character and what he's like as a person.

And sorry TDK but there is ZERO evidence to say that John Edwards would of been a great VP.

When your Cabinet includes a BLACK POTUS sitting at the head of the table, your administration is 'more diverse' than any other presidential administration in history.:p

I always found it funny how many people claim Obama was only elected/supported because he was Black but 43 White Presidents in a row over the course of 219 years is just some happy coincidence that isn't worth talking about.

Look at the black candidates who ran before Obama- Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Carol Moseley Braun, Alan Keyes, and Herman Cain. If you voted or would have voted for any of these people...you're crazy! Stop crying about the past, it's a new day!

Then why bring up why blacks voted for Obama in tge past hmmmm

Only Jesse Jackson came more farther than anyone in running for POTUS. Cain and Keyes are just clowns since White Republicans can't bring themselves in voting for a Black man. I read some Black conservatives voted for Obama if they are this year then they are one of the few who knows what time it is.

No, my point is that many blacks blindly follow Obama with absolutely no clue about his politics. We need to start expecting more from our President and our voters. Obama is the equivalent of that friend who doesn't speak to you in years, but when he reaches out he hits you up for money.

Your original point was about how we've had 43 White Presidents in 219 years and the lack of diversity in the White House. My point was showing the black candidates who ran in the past...they were not the best candidates. And remember even though the 15th amendment gave us a right to vote many blacks did not start voting until the Voting Rights Act of 1965. I understand there are still hate groups out there, I was not even touching that topic in my post.

Even if those candidates weren't the best candidates it still doesn't change the fact that over 2 centuries all the Presidents in this country have been White. Are you saying that during all of that time, if there had been a qualified Black man or woman running for President, he would have been elected regardless of being Black?? From the 1780s to say 2000??

    Truth.

I laughed when he said the Blacks who ran prior for POTUS,'weren't the best candidates.'

Yeah, that was the ONLY problem.:partyman:

I was curious to know if you had a similar comparison for Mitt Romney???

Especially after him and his campaign were bending over backwards trying to find someone from his past who had something nice to say about Romney as a youth. Outside of his wife after the story of that assault he committed when he was 18 got out. They didn't have much luck.

And if you want to say Blacks blindly follow Democrats with no clue about politics go right ahead. But as I pointed out previously:

This selective memory you all have on the right is extremely tiring. Not to mention the fact there are PLENTY of people in this country who are politically ignorant/apathetic who have no idea the type of politicians they're voting for but vote for them anyway because they have a "D" or "R" in front of their name, or they simply hate the other guy, or they like their charisma or some other stupid factor. Don't try to pretend it's Blacks who do this alone en masse. It's extremely disingenuous. If Blacks voted Republican in the numbers they do for Democrats, regardless of the reason, believe me you conservatives wouldn't be complaining. Let alone questioning it.

James can you answer my question above?

Did you and Jase read the post? I said the 15th amendment was basically a joke because blacks didn't really even begin voting until the Voting Rights Act of 1965 came along. So in the modern era, we've only had a couple of blacks run for president and none of them were remotely qualified...republican candidates included! My biggest issue is that when I have this conversation with black people, the majority say they voted for Obama because he was black. Is that the only qualification he needs? That's why I say we need to expect more.
