If you are what you eat, then this alleged burglar is a rare bird, according to police in Texas. When East Dallas resident Jennifer Espinoza left her apartment to take her daughter to school Monday morning, she left a frozen chicken in her kitchen sink to thaw. When she returned at around 7:45 a.m., she noticed the window to her bathroom was broken. "Once I opened the door, I saw the guy sitting in the sink, fully naked, eating [the raw chicken]," Espinoza told Dallas' Fox 4 News. http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/050311-bloody-naked-burglar-caught-eating-raw-chicken The in-the-buff burglar allegedly ignored shouts from Espinoza to get out of her apartment and continued chowing down on the bird. When Espinoza ran outside to call for help, the man reportedly locked her out of the house. According to investigators, when police arrived on the scene, they were forced to kick in the door and had to use a moderate amount of force to subdue the suspect. "The suspect refused to follow the officer's instructions, [so] officers did tase the suspect," Gerardo Monreal, a spokesman for the Dallas Police Department, told AOL Weird News. "The suspect was then apprehended and an ambulance was called to treat him because he had several cuts which he had sustained from crawling in the broken glass window." Following treatment at a local hospital, the suspect, who has since been identified as 26-year-old Michael Cooks, was charged with burglary. According to Fox 4, Cooks also had several outstanding warrants. Cooks' injuries were so severe that the carpet in the apartment had to be torn up due to the amount of blood that soaked into it and all of the walls had to be scrubbed with bleach. The family has since moved into another apartment. Source: AOL Weird News
