That could be, it makes sense - I know Sweden is right behind Norway in murders but Finland and Denmark is higher compared to Norway and Sweden.

Even though there is a cultural difference (egalitarian, social liberal mindset and Jantelaw etc) that add to the stats, I do think the fact that these are small countries also add to making it easier to keep "law and order"

This is really not that serious to be debating over. I assume you're bored or have a need to be right.

I still stand by my statement that people in prison live better than homeless people.

You are both right. I dont think Leksola dispute that, she just went further with it looking at why it is so.

I recall many inmates who were homeless before they went to prison who did whatever they could not to be released back into the streets. They liked having a roof over their head, a bed to sleep in, food, TV, medical care & basic necessities provided for them. It was always sad to know that these guys would rather stay locked up than be free because they had no place else to go.

    You're always so fair...lol

I understand, but this is not something I care about enough to go into a debate about with reasons and stats etc., sometimes you just want to state your opinion and move on...:p

Thanx for sharing that. That was my main purpose of posting in this thread.

Like I said, it's not personal.

It's my general field of expertise, so I do find it very important.

I can't help but extrapolate what people say on it, ask them to questions statements. Seek the meaning and logic in what they say. Bad habit of mine.

You care a lot about homeless people. I'm just pointing out a lot of them have been in jail, and asking when their rights begin. Concept of indivisibility, it's good to confront people with it.

If you say they get their own personal strippers...then I'm going to Parliament and take a long dump on their Parliamentary floor. And it'll look something like this...
