It's tonight! I can't wait! Oh god I can't wait! It's like that day of work when you know you're going to get your paycheck and you can finally go get something you've been needing for two weeks but you were too poor and suddenly you're going to have the money but those cocksuckers won't pay you til the end of your shift and the day just drags on and on and on and on and OH MY GOD NINE INCH NAILS HELL YES. Ahem. English: I am quite excited. I am a very big fan of Trent Reznor and his work, because he is an amazing artist. My impatience is driving me bonkers, but it will be ok because in 4 hours I will see Nine Inch Nails live. Not that I think anyone here cares about Nine Inch Nails. Regardless, I'm so posting pictures when I get back, or at least I'll go off about how much of a religious experience this will be. I'm so excited.
I like some of his stuff, very talented if somewhat disturbed individual. Head like a hole is a great tune.
I used to love NIN. Head Like a Hole - fantastic song! I haven't listened to any of his recent material though.
oh wow oh wow oh wow I can't even find the words to describe how utterly amazing the show was. I don't care if you don't like nin, if you can at least tolerate their music you MUST check them out in your respective city!!!!! I'm not even playin! The stage show ALONE is enough! Oh my god! It was a religious experience, no doubt. Oh man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm completely euphoric right now http://www.flickr.com/photos/nineinchnails/ Here are pictures from the tour. My own personal pics suck, cause I wasn't like..first row. More like 112th row. *L* but damn, it was just as good!!!! Just watch and see what I'm talking about. They had three transclucent screens that kept moving up and down. Sometimes all three were down, sometimes one, sometimes two, sometimes none, and when they were up the matrix of lights in the back kept moving and flashing and omg I hope there were no epileptics in the audience. The way the screens worked made these AMAZING visual illusions, and the visuals themselves were just...perfect. The video above hightlights some of the shit I got to see. Oh man, oh man, it was so fucking fantastic.
I'm waiting for 3 Days Grace or Breaking Benjamin to have a show around the Philly area... I'll just have to not mind wading through a bunch of punk headbangers, while at the concert
Ah Nine Inch Nails. I remember them from my early years. They're coming to Cleveland in about a week I think
Go. go go go go go go go go. You will not regret it! The show is stunning. I don't really listen to much rock anymore, even though industrial is an offshoot, but still. I used to be a rocker, now not so much, but oh my. It was the most beautiful three hours of my life. Only twice have I been both enthralled and so touched at the same time like that. 1) when my nephew was born last year and I got to hold him about 5 minutes after he'd taken his first breath, and 2) when I saw my first Van Gogh in real life at the MFA here in Houston. Go!
I wouldn't mind goin at all, but I'm kinda strapped for cash at this point. I'm so poor I can't pay attention (corny joke lol)
awww. that sucks. It would've been my position if a sweet sweet friend of mine hadn't got my ticket for me. She's the bomb. If I had money, I would so buy you a ticket. *L* The show is -that- good.
while we're working with hypotheticals, would you have gotten me a tshirt? I was too poor for one! hahaha. One day when I'm rich many anonymous strangers on the internet are going to be very happy, cause I'll be buying concert tickets and tshirs and shit for everyone! *L*
Oh I Definitely woudda got you one. My friend Sara actually went to the show. She loved it! Big NIN fan. She told me all about it
