Hey BlackTiger, what's up with your Pats?? Why wouldn't they just pay Vinatieri the money that he wanted?? That guy is money in the crunch, and if the Colts get into any close games in the playoffs, he's just gonna make em all. The Pats may be able to get on without him and Branch, but the big mistake that they made was letting him go to the Colts. Big, Big Mistake. Very big mistake! haha
I agreed that Vinatieri should have been signed for whatever he wanted, but Stephen Gostkowski is perfectly fine. He missed 3 kicks his first two weeks, two of them were blocked, but he hasn't missed any since and his kickoffs are booming, far better than Adam. I hear you, but Pats have a good replacement. If you saw the game last night where we ANNIHILATED the Vikings,as long as you're a decent WR and can make sight reads, Brady will find you. Why pay Branch $6mil a year, when you can get one for $1mil and have the rest to pay for your offensive line and your defense? Brady threw for 372 yards last night with average wideouts. They have two outstanding tight ends in Watson and Graham and both can block, so it enhances the running game. Belichick would rather run clock anyway, so the backs and the short passing game works for them. And Brady has impeccable timing. Nobody has scored more than 17 points on us, so don't get it twisted..the Pats are ready to RUMBLE!! Peace out Bryant. BT
