Okay got my pics, 3 weeks to go and still didn't go undefeated, oh well gotta keep trying, so here we go.

I started off 1-0 with the thurday pick for houston.
CIN over SF - Jrem you are right, san fran can't beat
    nobody it's looking like.

SEA over CAR - Seattle is gearing up for another 1-1 playoff record

BUF over CLE - Buffalo beat a touger team than cleveland has been beating as of late. Thye managed to beat that highly emotional redskins so they have a better edge.

TEN over KC - Tennessee is the only team where their QB has more INTs than TDs that has a winning record....WOW!

BAL over MIA - I was going to choose this as my upset pick, but that was when I didn't want to see them go 0-16, but now come on miami you can do it  Lose that game, lose that game. Three weeks ya'll are getting close

NE over NYJ - Going to be a little tougher this time around but look for a second half pull away by the pats.

NO over ARZ - Defenses on bothsides will not play this game
    High scoring all the way.

PIT over JAC - Home is not where we need to worry about them at.

GB over STL - Packers are rolling, but it will be a bit hard for favre because he does not have a good indoors record.

TB over ATL - I think their coach quiting on them, just put them in the same position, he was the leader and when the leader leaves, that puts a huge downer on the teams hopes.

Indy over OAK - Already know indy will win, the bigger story is will this be the game jamarcus russel finally ge to play in, GEEZ! No. 1 pick and we didn't even get to see him play.

DAL over PHI - Philly has lost their spark, they no longer own this division, it belongs to the cowboys and second is NYG.

SD over DET - Lions were up, then up & down, now there just down.

NYG over WSH - Eli is due for a big game, I feel this is it.

MIN over CHI - Vikings roll on to secure a playoff spot.

Now this is definitely odd....saturday night games. I'm gonna have to get used to this myself. Okay, i'm already 0-1 (thanks Denver  ) so lets see if i can do any better with the rest of my picks.

    Cincinnati over San Fran
I'm in total agreement with everybody else. I don't think San Fran can really beat anybody.

    Tennessee over KC
I think the Chiefs are in rebuilding mode, and are about to mail the season in for a higher draft pick.

    Baltimore over Miami
I don't know about any upset here. The Dolphins are just soo soo bad. Cleo Lemon is better than Beck right now though, so i dunno. I'll pick Baltimore just in case.

    New England over NY Jets
It could be close because of the weather, but i think the Pats are gonna pound em out in the end for the win.

    Cleveland over Buffalo
Kudos to Dick Jauron, as i have no clue how he's gotten this team on the winning track. If they win out, he should be a coach of the year candidate. But, Cleveland is at home, and they have a much better offense, so i'm picking them to win.

    Seattle over Carolina
Carolina is a team on the decline. They're in disarray. No quarterback to speak of right now. Seattle is on a roll, and they'll continue it i'm sure.

    Arizona over New Orleans
Two teams fighting it out for the final wild card spot, and because i'm desperately hoping for the Saints to miss out, i'll pick the Cards in an upset here, just out of spite.

    Tampa Bay over Atlanta
No discussion is needed here really. Atlanta is just counting the days til the draft.

    St. Louis over Green Bay
Marc Bulger is supposed to be playing in this game. If he does, i think the Rams can pull the upset here.

    Jacksonville over Pittsburgh
I think Pittsburgh is the better team, but we'll see.

    Indianapolis over Oakland
Nothing needs to be said here. Let's move on.

    San Diego over Detroit
Detroit is on the road. Their second half collapse will continue. Enough said.

    Dallas over Philadelphia
The Eagles are done. Dallas keeps rolling.

    NY Giants over Washington
Todd Collins played well against a really bad, and injury depleted Bears secondary. The Giants aren't much better, but they'll still get the win here.

    Minnesota over Chicago
Yes, i picked against my Bears finally. They're done. Totally done. Nothing left. Peterson and Taylor will run all over them "AGAIN." I'm counting the days til the draft myself.

I can see we all had unnerving weeks but it seems i did enough to retain my top spot by going 10-6. Bryant went 9-7, JREM and Kenny went 8-8. I still am on top!!! :D

Oh, and by the way, i get the week's game ball for being the only one who accurately picked my dear Dolphins to win. God, you must not have known how i felt. Another of my Christmas wish had been delivered!!! 8)

Unnerving week is an understatement Cris. But while we're all dishing out mediocre records, you're still bringing the heat i see. i actually finished up 8-8 along with Jrem, and Kenny, and because i don't think Wed submitted any picks this week, that leaves you as the only one with a winning record for the week. Dang Cris, slow down man!!

And yeah, kudos to you for picking the sorry Dolphins to win when nobody else would. I'm still pizzed at Brian Billick. That guy is such an idiot. You're one inch away from the goal line and you kick the field goal?? Grow some testis, and go for the win man!! He's such a moron, and he cost us all a chance to see them go 0-16!!!

I feel you on that one bryant, that was dumb, I mean what did you get
Mcgahee actually for? dude cost the dophins their un-perfect season.

  6. Bryant

    Bryant New Member

Yep, exactly what i was thinking Kenny. McGahee was brought in for that reason alone. He's your guy, so put the ball in his hands and let him win it/lose it for you. At least you would give your best offensive player a chance to make the play. Billick is an absolute idiot.

By the way, did u guys see that Cowboys vs. Eagles game?? They literally talked about Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson's steamy romance throughout the entire game!! It was appalling! God please don't let the Cowboys make the superbowl. There's no way i could stand listening to that nonsense for an entire week!

Guys it is a 4 horses race now, since it seems Wed decided to forfeit the rest of the year...

So as Laydeez said, he went 10 and 6...man Cris, you sure are due for a BAAAAD week! Bry went 9 and 7 and Kenny and myself 8 and 8...man, Cris is killing us guys do something...

I can't watch the games (I'm in France :(, fortunately, I eat great food and check out awesome babes (when my gf isn't looking, hehehe)...but I watch all the highlights on NFL.com/live and the play by play of the Saints...Brees is on fire, but man, these Vikings look like they won't lose again!!! and they barely have a QB...they're bound to fail when they will fall bahind in a game...

Billick SHOULD have been fired...this year he just couldn't coach at all...hopefully it's just a bad year for him!!!

The Pats are going 16 and 0, man...and if they don't then I don't understand anything about football anymore!!!

Here are the updated scores (last week in Parentheses)

    Cris: 132-76 (122-70)
    JREM: 126-82 (118-74)
    Kenny: 124-84 (116-76)
    Bry: 120-88 (111-81)

    Peace!!!

Hey Bryant, tony romo sets those up, I give up to him cause he is dating some fine ladies, but he is obviously focused more on that, than the game as last sunday showed. Alot of football players dates alot of beautiful women as well, but at least he can keep his head in the game instead of putting his jersey on them and sitting them in plain view just to get publicity. He should of became an entertainer if he wanted that kind of publicity. Come on ROMO! Your gonna cost your team AGAIN

Well Im a stay in the game

    My thursday night pick

PIT over STL - This was so hard, because of how the steelers been playing as of late, but I pick them because I think the steelers pride and respect has just been stomped on so they SHOULD! Come out swinging.

    BTW
Congrtaulations on all those who made the pro bowl.

Guys, sorry for not reviewing this week. I was too busy lying in bed all day with my babies. I just can't get my eyes off them.

I think you're all being too hard on Mr Romo. Sure, dude had one bad game but he's been near perfect all season. He's consistently played like a Pro Bowl QB and i feel Dallas shall be representing the NFC in the Super Bowl because of him. Also, kudos to him for bagging such a hottie like Jessica Simpson. If only the color commentators would shut the fuck up about it .......

Is it just me or Brian Billick, for all the experience he has, is one of the worst at calling crunch calls? First, it was that fateful timeout against New England and now the field goal? Hey, at least my Dolphins got their first win.

I'm not ready to do some critical thinking yet so i'll put up my picks tomorrow.

Romo's thumb was affecting his grip....he missed too many wide open throws....he had T.O. open 2 or 3 times and at least one of those should have been about a 70-80 yd TD.

It doesn't matter what the records are in divisional games....when two teams know each other well....having the obvious talent advantage gets negated.

I know romo is real good QB Im saying he needs to flash his stunner in a place where it is more suitable, cause it is very obvious he was in on her coming to his game wearing his jersey to flash to the cameras....wrong place, I could see if she was just at the game supporting him, but that had PUBLICITY written all over it. His mind should of been concentrated on that divisional game all week instead of taking some of that concentration on how they going to get the world to know about his new girlfriend, he'll have time to do that when the cowboys get beat by greenbay in the NFC championship match  After that game he'll have all the time in the world

Oh man, i totally agree. She's sitting in the luxury suite, with his jersey on. Okay, she's his girl...they're in love...we get it. But c'mon, it was overkill for crying out loud.

By the way, yep, Pittsburgh will beat the Rams. Pitt is still a good team, they just ran into two hotter teams in consecutive weeks. Jacksonville is equipped to beat any team with that kind of running game. Pitt will get back on track this week guaranteed.

hey, don't worry bout it bro. if i had two twin babies, i would be all laid up with them too.

Tony Romo is definitely a good player, but he throws up these clunkers every once in a while. every quarterback does, but Cowboy fans have to wonder what he'll do when he's going up against an aggressive defensive coordinator like Jim Johnson in the playoffs. scheming, and execution by the defense seems to give him problems, and when T.O. is taken out of the game, it seems like he struggles. i dunno. maybe it was just a bad game. but i've seen him have about 2-4 of these types of games this year.

and yeah, Kudos to him for bagging the stunning Jessica Simpson. as a matter of fact, i don't mind him having her at the game. it's just the fact that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman wouldn't shut up about it! they just kept going on, and on, and on...my god, i was ready to throw up by the time the game was over.:vom: this is football, not Days of our Lives.

Agree, PITT over STL for thursday's game and a bounce back game for mister Romo for DALLAS against Carolina on saturday!!

I will pick for the rest of the games a little later...

Men, all of you guys are probably still sleeping...I'm almost envious :)

    Peace

Dallas over CAR - Bouncing back tony romo is good at, so it is in his favor for dallas to win, plus that dallas defense is under the radar as in just how good they are, which is REAL good.

Terrell Owens was only joking. The media should stop making a fuss about this. Although, its not as though he's lying.

Hey Bry, what's your e-mail addy? By the way, loved the "Days of Our Lives" reference. I felt the exact same way.

For tonight, i pick the Pittsburgh Steelers to bounce back. For some reason, i like this team. Their jerseys look super-cool. Plus, Hines Ward, in my opinion, is an underappreciated WR. IMO, they were much better with Antwaan Randle El (who is another underrated player).

The Steelers have had a rough two weeks, not necessarily because they have been poor, but because they've met tough defenses. Their running game is kinda weak and Jacksonville are superb at stopping the passing game. So its kinda made things tough for them but they should end their two game skid at St Louis tonight.

Alright guys...going to be busy this WE, so here are my picks already for the rest of the games (Already picked PITT and DALLAS for yesterday's game and for tomorrow's)

Here it goes...Cris, I'm gonna take a few chances, I've got to close the gap...even though it seems like you are headed for a regular season victory over all of us :)

NY Giants at Buffalo: Giants seem to become very inconsistent, after they had that 6-game winning streak...I pick the upset...Buffalo wins at home!

Green Bay at Chicago: The Packers have everything to play for...homefield throughout the NFC playoffs!!! Do the Bears still have pride?

Cleveland at Cincinnati: Talk about a crucial game for the Browns...they need to stay with the Steelers in the AFC North to have a chance to make the playoffs...Bengals are making holiday plans!

Kansas City at Detroit: Yaaaaawn...hmmm...Detroit at home

Houston at Indianapolis: Even without 5 starters, the Colts won't lose to the Texans at the RCA dome!

Oakland at Jacksonville: Is there year in and year out a more underrated team in the NFL than the Jags??? And how doesn't Fred Taylor make it to the pro bowl???

Philadelphia at New Orleans: It's another playoff game for the Saints!!!

Atlanta at Arizona: Yaaaaawn...Arizona at home!

Tampa Bay at San Francisco: The Bucs have clinched, they are due for a letdown game

Miami at New England: Pats are going 16 and 0, and I wish they punish the Dolphins for depriving us of that 0 and 16 historical season! :)

Baltimore at Seattle: Can the Ravens finish the season on such a long losing streak and keep trusting Brian Billick??? That's strange!!!

NY Jets at Tennessee: Titans still have something to play for...or do they??? the Jets are one of these boring teams man...no interest in tehm whatsoever!!!

Washington at Minnesota: I see (And I would like to see) the upset here...Vikes' deficiencies at QB have to catch up with them sooner or later!

Denver at San Diego: This year, the Broncos have been somewhat strange...lots of potential, nothing to show for it!!!

Let me just say...T.O is flat out crazy. Doesn't he realize whatever comes out of his mouth, whether he was joking or not, is going to be misconstrued by the media? oh well...he loves the attention anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Hey Jrem, sounds like you're chillaxin out there man. :smt004 It's actually good that you'll miss all the games, that way, you won't have to bear witness to the Eagles putting an end to the Saints playoff hopes this week. Sorry, i just had to say it.

By the way, i'll have my picks submitted before the saturday game.

And Wed, it's too bad you won't be picking with us anymore. We'll miss ya in here man.
