Last weeks score was: Cris: 11-5 Malik:11-5 Bryant: 9-7 Life: 8-8 Tony: N/A Here are the updated scores after 2 weeks of exciting NFL football, and uh-oh Cris, it looks like we have a new leader on the board! Malik: 22-10 Cris: 21-11 Bry: 20-12 **Note** (I didn't include the scores for Life or Tony, because i'm assuming they're out. So that means it's a 3 man show for this seasons supremacy.)
WEEK THRICE ATL Bills Titans Viks Pats G'Men Skins Lions S'Hawks Broncos Phil-lay Jags B'More The Dallas Contingent Chargers Bears
Week 3 picks : Kansas City Chiefs vs Atlanta Falcons Oakland Raiders vs Buffalo Bills Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Chicago Bears Carolina Panthers vs Minnesota Vikings Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Giants Houston Texans vs Tennessee Titans Arizona Cardinals vs Washington Redskins Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers St Louis Rams vs Seattle Seahawks New Orleans Saints vs Denver Broncos Pittsburgh Steelers vs Philadelphia Eagles Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts Cleveland Browns vs Baltimore Ravens Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers New York Jets vs San Diego Chargers
Here are my picks for the week: Atlanta over Kansas City (It's a toss-up between the Rams and Chiefs as the worst team in football). Buffalo over Oakland (The Bills could actually be undefeated going into their bye week. Who would of thunk it). Chicago over Tampa Bay (Kyle Orton sucks, and i can't wait for Rex to come back in, but we won't need great quarterback play to beat the Bucs at home). Carolina over Minnesota (Gus Frerotte is almost as bad as Jackson is. The Vikes are wasting Adrian Peterson). New England over Miami (All Cassell has to do is avoid mistakes, and the Pats should win). NY Giants over Cincinnati (I never thought i'd say this, but the Giants are actually looking good enough to repeat). Tennessee over Houston (Kerry Collins is a better starter for that team than Vince Young is). Arizona over Washington (Kurt Warner has the Cardinals looking like the greatest show on turf part Deux). Denver over New Orleans (The Broncos actually have the best offense in the league right now. Jay Cutler is for real). San Francisco over Detroit (The Lions are horrible on the road, plus Mike Martz will be able to exploit their piss poor defense with ease). Seattle over St. Louis (The Rams are horrible. End of story). Cleveland over Baltimore (Cleveland is too good a team, to go 0-3). Jacksonville over Indianapolis (Jacksonville is also too good a team to go 0-3). Philadelphia over Pittsburgh (Only picking the Iggles because they're at home). Dallas over Green Bay (Just don't know if Green Bay has enough fire power to keep up with Dallas). San Diego over NY Jets (Chargers won't be going 0-3 either).

Okay, that was a very interesting 3rd week of NFL football. One thing we all need to take notice of is the fact that the NFC is back! The AFC has been hyped as the best division in football for years now, but look, the 3 best teams in the league are in the NFC (Cowboys, Giants, Eagles) and all in the same division nonetheless! The Skins are starting to play well too, so umm....the NFC East is looking pretttty good! Now, on to business. It looks like Life and Tony are back in the game. Hopefully we can count on them from here on out. Consistency is always key. But of course, not picking for a week comes with a stiff penalty. You both have to accept a .500 record for the weeks you missed. It doesn't seem stiff at first, but normally only one or two games separates the winners from the losers in the pickem league, so every single win counts. Here are the updated scores through 3 weeks of exciting NFL football! Last week: Malik: 22-10 Cris: 21-11 Bry: 20-12 This week: Malik: 35-13 Cris: 31-17 Bry: 31-17 Life: 27-21 Tony: 26-22 ***Note*** Here is how i calculated the scores for Life and Tony. Life went 8-8 her first week. She missed the second week, which automatically puts her at 16-16. She went 11-5 in the third week, which now gives her a total of 27-21 for 48 total games played. Tony missed the first, and second week picks, which automatically puts him at 16-16 (remember, if you miss a week, you automatically have to accept a .500 record). He went 10-6 this past week, which gives him a total of 26-22 for 48 total games played.

Dallas Cowboys Now Chris-you know the Cowboys are gonna beat some Redskins tail tomorrow!!!!:smt021:smt072:smt038
Let's go Bears!!! This has the looks of one of those "trap weeks." You know, a week where all the games look cut and dry, and you think you know who the winner will be, but it turns out to be the complete opposite. I got myself into a lot of trouble last season during these kinds of weeks, and it killed my record, but let's see if i can get a few of them right this time around. Atlanta @ Carolina The Falcons are a young team, and are on the road. Doesn't look good. Cleveland @ Cincinnati This is one of my upset picks. I'm picking the Bengals to stun the Browns, and send them into the Brady Quinn era a little bit early. Houston @ Jacksonville The Texans aren't any good outside of the dome. Jags should win. Denver @ KC It sucks that the Chiefs are so bad. They used to be one of my favorite teams. I feel really sorry for Tony Gonzalez. Hopes he gets traded soon. San Francisco @ NO Reggie Bush isn't playing like such a bust anymore. Saints should win here. Arizona @ NY JETS Arizona has a better supporting cast than the Jets. They should be able to put up enough points to win. Green Bay @ Tampa Bay The Bucs aren't as great as their record. Griese is a fraud. Minnesota @ Tennessee The Titans have the best defense in the league, and will shut down AP. Vikes can't win this game. San Diego @ Oakland LaDainian always has monstrous games against the pathetic Raiders. Buffalo @ St. Louis This is my second upset pick. I'm picking the Rams to upset the undefeated Bills. Washington @ Dallas If this game was being played in Washington, then the Skins might have a shot. Dallas just has too much firepower for them right now. The only team that can beat Dallas at this point, is the NY GIANTS. Philadelphia @ Chicago I honestly don't see how my Bears will be able to win this game, but i'm hoping that we do so that we don't end up 1-3 to start the season. Westbrook might not be playing, so that's a good sign. Baltimore @ Pittsburgh The Steelers should be able to harass Flacco enough and force him into a few turnovers. Pittsburgh should take this one at home.

Sorry for being late with the updated scores for this week. It's been one weird season so far hasn't it? I mean, this is the first season in years that the Colts and Patriots aren't looking like contenders, and it's also the first time that i can remember where each and every team in the NFC EAST looks like a Super Bowl contender (Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, and Redskins). Of course, my Bears will take any of em down, any day. Without further ado, here are the updated scores through 4 excited weeks of NFL football! Last weeks record: Malik: 35-13 Cris: 31-17 Bry: 31-17 Life: 27-21 Tony: 26-22 This weeks updated record: Malik: 44-17 Cris: 38-23 Bry: 38-23 Life: 32-29 Tony: 29-32 **Note** (Tony missed picks again this past week, and i'm not sure if he's going to consistently pick each week. I think it's fair that we stiffen the penalty for those who miss their picks. Since there were only 13 games played last week, a 3-10 record for Tony sounds reasonable. So Tony, please let me know if we can count on you to get your picks in each week, and if not, that's cool. Just let me know something okay.)
