That law that North Carolina passed back in July about blocking the public from seeing police cam footage doesn't go into effect until October 1st. So they literally waiting a week for that day. Charlotte Police Chief is also now conveniently claiming Video provides no ‘definitive’ evidence that victim pointed gun before officer shot him.

She turned herself in, but keep in mind Officer Betty Shelby is the 11th officer charged for killing someone this year. What happened in those other cases or what will happen can dictate what she'll face. But on the other hand people have to remember she is a woman, some of these racist are also sexist, so not too many will care what happens to her.

 

Then they need to show it definitive or not.

 

If she goes in I'd write letters to her.
I've been reading up on involuntary shooting and personally I think that's what happened and for once the damn prosecutors issued the right charge for this crime. It won't be hard for a jury or of a judge to convict.
I think she made a mistake and will pay for it as she should but if she shows genuine remorse I'd write a letter to her in jail.
