    BRYANT!!!!

Joe Horn was a big loss...but he clearly has lost a step, and he is a bit too cocky for the "team player" style that Sean Payton wants to install in New Orleans!!

What did u call Lance Briggs??????? Cry baby???? where would your Teddy-pussy-Bears be without him???

I forgot Teddy-pussy-stingy-Bears, bcoz they didn't even want to pay Lovie even after he completely turned around your franchise!!! Oh, or maybe the front office also thought that Lovie was crazy for sticking with T-Rex-I Dunno Why I'm Still On The Field-Grossman!! :D:D:D:D

NFC CHAMPS YOU??? you guys let go of Thomas Jones and are going to count on...CEDRIC-Big Bust always hurt-BENSON???? gimme a BRRRRRRRRRREAAAAAK!!!!

    SAINTS, all the way!!! :D:D:D

wheew, okay, now i finally have time to sit down and argue with you Jrem. :p

even though it's the offseason, which is technically supposed to be a time of peace, it's obvious that your thirst for confrontation will never be quenched, so i'll oblige you...LOL :)

so let me get this straight...you're talking about the same Joe Horn who, after the hurricane struck, personally went to the superdome to aid the victims, and who has been aiding the victims ever since that time, is the same Joe Horn that has all of a sudden not become the team player?? his whole cell phone incident was corny, and funny :D but he's been a great team player ever since. and c'mon, he may have lost a step..or two.. but giving Michael Vick more weapons to choose from doesn't help you guys in the slightest bit u know that.

ROFLMAO...did you just call my team the teddy pussy bears??? haha very funny. and we don't need the crybaby. he's a product of the system. sure, he can tackle his butt off, but he doesn't do much more than that..you'll see. we're just sitting back waiting for some team with idiots for GM's to give us a bunch of draft picks for that guy. it's gonna be almost like how Atlanta got away with robbery in that deal with the Texans for Matt Schaub...lol

and i'm definitely with you on that last point you made. Thomas Jones was my favorite offensive player, and that was a big loss, but Cedric Benson is a good back, so we should be okay in that department. well, i mean, he's no friggin Reggie Bush or anything..lol but he'll be okay. i really hate Bush, but i have to admit that that guy can flat out play. god i'm really starting to hate your team Jrem. they're such cocky barstards..LOL

Jrem, don't say i didn't call it. :D Just like i predicted, an idiotic franchise/owner would step up to the plate and trade a ridiculous amount of draft picks (or pick) for the crybaby. wanna know which team it is?? yep, who else but the Redskins right..lol they're dumb enough to actually trade first round picks with us. so instead of picking at number 31, we're gonna be picking at number 6! my day has just been made! haha. now i just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope that this deal goes through! :D :D :D

    Bryant, Bryant, Bryant...
Weed in chicago must be strong...and u are obviously high...

Cedric Benson is a good back, yes...but when he is ON the field and not in the training room...and obviously, Cedric is a pussy Bear...

It's funny how ppl thought that Reggie was too small, would get hurt, etc...and here he is, gets hurt on opening day last season against Cleveland, plays hurt until near the end of the season, never misses a game!!! THIs season, he is going to light up Soldier Field and point at Urlacher twice!!!

AND...without Briggs, you'll see how your defense will suck...oh, but I forgot, u have Adam-I can only play in one system-Archeluta...huh??? :):):)

Peaace my man...the flow is yours!!!

ps: There's NO off-season...what are you talkin about young man??? :)

C'mon Jrem, everybody knows that the weed down in Nawlins is the best. That's why everybody is always high and blowed out of their mind on bourbon street..lol :weedman:

Yeah, Reggie may be the man, but that doesn't stop him from being a prick. His cockiness is sickening :vom: . The only guy on the team who doesn't toot his own horn is McAllister, and i respect him for that. Well, Brees doesn't toot his own horn either, but you people have been doing that for him, so stop it! He's a good player, but he's no god..lol goodness grief you people in nawlins get so worked up over one good season. i can't wait for your team to fall back down into the bottom of the barrel where you belong...haha. isn't it a shame when you guys can't even reach the super bowl in your so-called "dream" season. if you couldn't do it then, will you ever?? and your team hasn't done anything to improve that dreadful/pathetic/horrendous defense this off-season. All Atlanta did was sit back collecting draft picks and getting better. so umm...maybe you guys won't even win the division next season you know. :)

Forget about Briggs. He's a baby. If he doesn't wanna play for us, then we're gonna show his arse the door. It's gonna be difficult to replace him, but working with the 6th overall pick in the draft isn't too shabby. Hey, as a matter of fact, one of the guys over on Chicagobears.com mentioned that we should trade Benson to move up a few slots, and then draft Adrian Peterson. Now that would be something. I would thoroughly enjoy seeing him bulldoze all over you guys' undersized, overrated, and overachieving defenders.
    :)

    Hmmm...
Ok...now you guys would trade Benson? I thought you dealt Thomas Jones bcoz Benson was the man...but obviously the whole Chicago Bears organization is confused...

You guys waited forever to get to the superbowl again...this wasn't our dream season...it was the beginning, the team was learning to play together...just you watch us next year!!

And we improved our 11th overall defense (Brian Simmons, Kevin Kaesviharn, Grant is back and not whining like Briggs), and in the draft, we'll pick a few good DBs (cornerbacks, safeties)...our offense will still be the best in the league and you guys will feel it when we come up here in ur ugly cold city

This isn't necessarily football related, but Jrem, what's up with your boy Reggie and all of his off-the-field extracurricular activities?? :p I heard he got kicked out of the playboy mansion!! We might have to get him a chastity belt before the season starts!! LOLOL

    Hey Bry...

from what I hear, this isn't even true...
probably some Bears fans trying to have Reggie fined or suspended by the NFL so he doesn't scorch that Briggs-less Teddy Bears defense next season!!! :D:D:D

Peaaaaaace!! ...I'm off to some Bear hunting trip!! :D:D:D

If Reggie keeps this up, he's gonna turn into the next Adam "Pacman" Jones :smt025 8)

Hahahaha...Reggie the next Pacman jones??? C'mon
Browse the web, there are reports now that say it's totally false, he hasn't been banned from the Mansion!!

But honestly, who cares? The Saints started their offseason workout, Reggie was there, getting ready to kick some (Bears) ass...so get ready young man!!! we're coming!!!

Jrem, my friend, this NFL offseason verbal match is being delayed until the draft. It may seem like i'm chickening out, but if we're gonna have a war of words i'm gonna need some ammunition. It's been quiet in the NFL of late, so i haven't had much for you. But, after the draft, i'm probably gonna be shooting my mouth off like a handgun..haha :smt071 so i'll see you then! :)

Jrem, here are my winners and losers of the draft and free agency periods.

    Winners:

Atlanta- Simply because they had 11 selections, and "one" of them has to pan out. Joe Horn was also a good addition. He can actually "catch" the football. lol

Cleveland- For them to pass on Brady Quinn, and still be able to get him 20 picks later is amazing. Not to mention the fact that they got the top rated offensive lineman in the draft. Cleveland should be good for 7-9 wins this upcoming season if they play their cards right.

Denver- Simply because of the off-season that they've had. They signed Bly, traded for Henry, and just overall became a much, much deeper team. This team is gonna be scary.

Detroit- Calvin Johnson on one side, and Roy Williams on another. Nuff said.

Minnesota- Adrian Peterson running indoors on that fast track, that's "SCARY."

New England- This team has had the best off-season that i've ever seen. First they sign the best free agent available in Adalius Thomas, then sign Donte Stallworth, then trade for Wes Welker (a very speedy and elusive return man and slot receiver) trade one of their picks for a future first round pick (robbery) and then to put the cherry on top, trade for my personal favorite player in the NFL, Randy Moss, who by the way, can still run the 40 in less than 4.3 seconds. This team might go undefeated next season. They're LOADED.

Oakland- Had a good draft for the simple fact that they found a quarterback, which could mean that they might actually score a single offensive touchdown this upcoming season. lol

San Francisco- They drafted a LB who could be the next "Ray Lewis" signed a really good WR in Jackson from Seattle, and basically, their off-season was good. Overpaying for Clements would be the understatement of the century, but this team is definitely headed in the right direction. I predict 7-10 wins for this team, and an outside shot of making the playoffs as a wild card.

St. Louis- Signed Drew Bennett (if i'm not mistaken) traded for Daunte Hall (still a very dangerous return man, especially on that fast track in the dome) and basically got a little deeper through free-agency and the draft. This team should make the playoffs.

Tampa Bay- Have a nice insurance policy in Garcia if Simms doesn't revert back to his old form. Also had a decent draft and offseason, but lucked out by not being able to snag Johnson.

Saints- Drafted another speedy WR who the scouts had a very high grade for in Meachem, and even took a few steps towards improving the defense. Still very capable of making another strong push for the NFC championship this upcoming season.

Bears- Good decision taking Olsen, the top rated tight end, at the end of the first round, and an even smarter decision trading slots with San Diego and collecting 4 extra draft picks in exchange. I also like the drafting of Garrett Wolfe from Northern Illinois. He's small, but he could be the next Warrick Dunn or Maurice Jones-Drew.

    Losers:

Bears- For not trading that idiot Briggs. We should have washed our hands with him, and moved on. Hopefully we can still unload him before the trading deadline next season. And also for trading the wrong darn running back. They should have moved Benson, not Jones.

Green Bay- Because their draft was horrible (should have gone strictly offense) and they couldn't even land Randy Moss. Brett should have retired. This team won't finish better than 7-9 or 8-8 at best.

Houston- Matt Shaub is an upgrade, but their offensive line still stinks, and he's gonna get sacked a gazillion times the same way that David Carr did. However, their defense is improving.

Kansas City- All of their players are retiring, Larry Johnson is disgruntled, Trent Green wants out, and they're banking all of their hopes on some kid named Brodie Croyle?? This team is on the downslide for sure. Tony Gonzalez should try to get out and quick.

Miami- Made probably the dumbest draft move in recent history by taking Ginn Jr. over Brady Quinn. I couldn't believe what i was seeing. That was absolutely, breathtakingly stupid.

Giants- Didn't effectively find a replacement for Barber. That's bad news because when Eli starts racking up the INT's, who's gonna bail him out now??

San Diego- Fire Marty Schottenheimer and replace him with Norv "can't win a ball-game if his life depended on it" Turner?? They also lost both coordinators, and their draft was terrible. They'll still be good, but not like last years good.

Tennessee- Let their best running back go (Travis Henry) let their best WR go (Bennett) and didn't address the offense through the draft. This team took a step backwards not forward this offseason.

SuperBowl Prediction: Patriots 27 Bears 21 (Tom Brady wins his fourth Super Bowl, and is soon after elected as President of the United States. Nuff Said. )

    Hey Bry...
Been crazy busy, so I disappeared a bit, but!!!!

Even though you made a pretty good analysis, you forgot something very important!!! The BEARS just signed Chris "Pretty Boy" Leak, who is going to challenge Rex "Dinosaur hands" Grossman...
Which shows the confidence you have in your "pro bowl" quaterback...

And don't tell me that Leak is just there to be a backup...Rex will have to earn his starting job again in Training camp!!

As for the Saints, not only do we draft another crazy fast receiver, we get Antonio Pittman, to relieve Bush or Deuce in some games or insurance in case of injury...

Picture this: Drew Brees in the shotgun, 5 receivers set: Colston split right, Meachem split left; Henderson in the slot, Tight end Eric Johnson and of course, Regggie Bush comes in motion...meanwhile, Deuce McAllister is at tailback....the defenses are...TRRRRRRRRRREMBLING!!!!

See you in Chicago at the end of the season Bry!!! :D

ps: I think you should be happy you guys kept Lance Briggs...you eventually are going to feel good watching him play for you towards the end of the season!!!

    Peaaace and GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!

We signed Chris Leak??? Great...another Henry Burris. lol he's gonna be a bust, and so is Troy Smith. Rex's job is safe. you just wait and see Jrem. he's gonna be a pro bowler this season guaranteed.

and what's your obsession with offense Jrem?? you guys had offense last year, and look what it got you, an early playoff exit. you guys should be focusing on trying to load up that defense to stop Vick, instead of constantly trying to think of ways to run 8 receiver sets. lol

    Bryant, Bryant, Bryant...
You must have been lurking at that girl in your signature for waaaaaaaaay too long!!!

The Saints had an EARLY exit last year??? you call an NFC championship game an early exit??? hmm...focus!!!

We had offense and so we should be content??? that is why Sean Payton is a great coach...you can't be satisfied!! it is easy to get to the top, but stay at the top is the real challenge!!! so that's why we drafted more offense!!!

By the way, my friend, we added defense through free-agency, before the draft, during the draft and after the draft (LB Brian Simmons, CB Jason David, S Kevin Kaesviharn) we dafted two CBs and two defensive linemen (Usama Young, David Jones, Jermon Bushrod and Marvin Mitchell) and in free-agency after the draft as well!!

As you can see, I know my stuff, so next time come better prepared rookie!!! :):):)

ps: are you like, in love with Rex or married to his sister or something? you worry me man!! :D:D:D open your eyes, Rex sucks!!! (better than his sister!!!) hehehehe

haha...you're quite right Jrem, i have been looking at that siggy pic for too long, but that doesn't affect my supreme knowledge about the game of football in any way shape or form! :D Are you kidding me?? To stay on top you draft more offense?? If you consider the top being getting destroyed in soldier field by 3 touchdowns, then i guess you've got a good point there afterall. lol Offense never wins championships, except for the Colts super bowl win last year, which was clearly a fluke. The Bears choked in that game, and the Colts capitolized. The Colts weren't supposed to win the super bowl with offense only, and i guarantee you that it won't ever happen again. There are some enigmas in sports that happen from time to time, but they're definitely not a common occurrence. So basically, if you're of the mindset that the Saints are going to reach the promised land by going offense, and then more offense, you are sadly mistaken my friend. :smt018

and what's your hang-up/fascination with Rex?? it sounds like you have waaay more of a man crush on him than i ever will cause you bring him up all the time! :smt054 :D

p.s. (if Brian Simmons and Jason David are you guys' saviors to the defense, ur gonna be in a crap load of trouble. Simmons is a has-been, and Jason David is like 5'8 and 165 lbs. lol)

    NFL OFFSEASON VERBAL MATCH UP.

 I'm a Bears Fan at heart, and Lovie doesn't want to admit it, but methinks they could use someone else at QB.
I know they made it to the Superbowl, but I believe it was the Bear's defense that carried Rex.Just my opinion, guys.

Plus what do you think of Moss to New England? You think he'll fit in with that squad?

  20. JREMINATOR

    JREMINATOR New Member

Man, if Randy Moss can stay serious, and just play unselfish football, nobody is going to be even close to beating the Pats this season!!

Defense wins championship...everyone says that, but offense can lose it for you, and the BEARS showed that last year...even thought they had a great D, their offense let them down BIG TIME!!

So we must temper the whole myth of "D wins championship"

And Bryant, Jason Dvid is 5'8'', yes, but he plays bigger than that!!
Anyway, we'll see you at soldier field this year man...REVENGE will be sweet!!!
