I watched the Induction on Sat. Its one of my favorite events. Of the five brothers that were enshrined, four had white wives (Andre Tippett, Emmitt Thomas, Fred Dean, and Art Monk. Tippett's wife is Jewish and he actually converted to Judiasm after they were married. Monk though was the only one who appeared to have been married to his wife from the start (23 years). The rest it seemed had been married to black women prior, judging from the mix of black and biracial children. Just something I thought was interesting.
I try to make a serious effort in watching the Hall of Fame ceremony every year, for one I am a huge NFL fan, and two, football's version of the HOF is easily far superior to baseball's HOF for obvious reasons. I did catch the part when the inductees thanked their coaches, teammates, and family members, and that was very interesting indeed.
Justice is finally served! I dont like the redskins - the team and especially the mascot! - but I always loved art monk. One of the best and definitely the classiest recievers ever. But he is the reason recievers now act a fool! Because the classy ones who dont say a peep are forgotten!

That's mainly due to the rule changes that have made the game almost unrecognizable compared to that which I grew up watching. But another reason I don't watch is because of the "look at me" displays of its star receivers. He has great numbers and a superbowl, but let's see how quickly Marvin Harrison of the Colts is elected once he's eligible.
It's hard for star athletes to stay exclusively to their "race." Many of those guys have been getting interracial ass thrown at them since their 85 yard punt return in high school. It's just said you don't see more of those pairings in the media. All we see is Reggie and Kim.
I wonder why it's not that big of a deal (Kim and Reggie)? Is it generational or is Kim not seen as being really "white" because of her Armenian heritage? If Jessica Simpson was dating Reggie Bush instead of Tony Romo...what would the reaction be? (besides all of the references to another famous USC running back with a penchant for dating blondes)
