Just because the season is over doesnt mean the action has stopped, because today is the day the season starts all over again. The free agency period starts today and this year you have probably the most coveted FA QB ever in Manning and with manning most likely comes Reggie Wayne. You have Randy Moss trying to make a comeback and signing with the 49ers, and of course a host of other names out there. To start off the fireworks though for the cowboys and redskins fans out there bad new both those teams are in a bit of trouble. The Cowboys have been docked $10 million in cap space and the redskins $36 million in cap space for dumping salaries in 2010, when the N.F.L. operated without a salary cap after the collective bargaining agreement expired. According to a person briefed on the situation, teams had been warned by the league not to dump salaries or front-load contracts to take advantage of the uncapped year, although there was nothing in writing mandating it.
