See you sound like you totally changed up your argument. If 300 million guns are too much how do you plan to reduce that number without banning and confiscating guns?
Also if you buy something beyond its intended purpose thats an illegal sale. Like if I bought a bunch of fertilizer and sold it to home grown terrorist. My ass would be grassed too. Well I guess where I live has far more regulation because I cant buy ten grand worth of guns in NY. That to me signals a red flag. Youre not even allowed to buy that much sudafed.
And by drugs I should have clarified and said weed. Thats a large part of the gun and drug problem. To be honest I think if coke were regulated that might be ok too. All I know for sure is banning it cause more harm than good. Hundreds of thousands of lives lost and billions of dollars wasted. Prohibition doesnt work.

I've said before I don't know how you reduce the number of guns already out here other than government buy backs or people voluntarily turning over unused weapons they don't need.

THe primary revenue driver of the Mexican and Central/South American drug cartels is cocaine. Marijuana is a distant second.

Legalizing pot won't have a major impact in how the drug cartels do business.
I think you're confusing an illegal purchase versus an inappropriate use for said purchase.

You can still buy fertilizer legally, but actually USING it to make a bomb is the only thing that's against the law. A seller isn't required by law to know beyond a shadow of a doubt why someone is buying something potentially hazardous. THe only restrictions for selling many hazardous materials is whether someone is legally authorized to buy them and quantity.

BTW I don't know if it's illegal or not for a U.S. gun shop owner on the Mexican border to sell someone 10 grand worth of guns or not. (Because of the strength of the NRA lobby I bet it's not illegal.) It might be a situation where a seller turns a blind eye. The problem is that it does happen all too frequently.

I just want to give you a hug for your continuing effort.

Dude a person who buys a bunch of fertilizer isnt allowed to resell it without a license thats the comparison I was trying to draw.

Having played a healthy number of FPSs, ranging from Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Half-Life, TimeSplitters, Halo, Red Faction, Geist, F.E.A.R....I can safely tell you that my opinion of guns hasn't changed one bit. They're just virtual games.

Off-Topic Discussion on Abortion: Pro-Life people REALLY crack me up far too much and don't see the negative impact of their ideas, relying heavily on paranoia. Too many contradictions abound.

conflate? let me deflate your rhetoric.....

    1) if you had been following my posts...I have been advocating gun restrictions such as people owning military style weapons, high capacity clips and banning people with mental issues and violent police records. I spelled that out before and even your boy TDK stated " I agree with all except the tax part". hand guns and hunting rifles are cool with me....

    2) zimmerman had a violent past.....domestic abuse andf fighting cops. he was a socalled law abiding citizen and another law abiding citizen died because of his right to protect his side walk from an evil skittle-ice tea- carrying mad man.

    3) your right to own a gun should not supercede my right to live. people fire guns in the air on the 4th of july and dont think that those bullets come back down. http://jonathanturley.org/2010/01/0...while-in-church-with-family-on-new-years-eve/
(4 year old kid in church on the 4th was killed )
The round was fired from an AK-47 and at first the parents did not know that Marquel was shot. Marquel’s mother, Nathalee Peters, heard a small scream and saw the boy drop his game.

"It drives me crazy to see people firing guns in celebration in various countries. There has long been a debate over whether the large numbers of injuries associated with falling bullets was true. What is known is that bullets are more lethal if fired at an angle rather than straight up. However, even a bullet fired straight up (not the case in Marquel’s death), can be lethal according to many experts. One of the best explanations that I could find is from Cecil Adams at Straightdope. After looking at a famous study by General Julian Hatcher in 1962, Adams writes......"

    4) abortion ?
    ==========================================================

gun advocates believe any restriction is a violation of their constitutional rights. smh

a lot.....but not all gun advocates are extremely emotional and irresponsible when it comes to this issue.

There should always be background checks. Full auto weapons should be restricted as they are and it should be illegal for us to have flamethrowers. Which I think it is. Other than that all hand held weapons should remain legal to law abiding citizens as long as they are not explosives.

There you have it Beasty's pro 2and amendment policy.

It is safe to say we agree on more than what we disagree and we could easily come to an agreement if we were the law makers. You and most of the people on the antigun want more regulation period without concern for the 2and amendent rights. What do I look like restricting myself to one 6 shooter knowing that gangs and militias are real and so is hate. I don't think about it often but that don't mean I should be a sitting duck. What is wrong with having 2 glocks with 13 round mags? Give me a break.

One day you might lose it and shoot up a Denny's lol
Dudes like GL truly believe that citizens are better off as sitting ducks because they arent comfortable with guns. Its sad

yeah, as long as its not your family member its cool huh?
loughner shot 31 rounds in 15 seconds killing 6 and wounding 13. you do the math.

“A gun in the home is 22 times more likely to kill a family member or friend than to kill an intruder,” http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...ots-gift-cards-in-exchange-for-your-firearms/

if a guy is robbing your house ... do you think for a hot second he will stick around andc have a gun fite with you...NO. if that gun fight last more than two shots fired 3 the most ......he is there on business (you) not your TV.
    according to you guys thats

sooooo then you got mad about me saying not having more than 10 rounds or 5.....

I didnt say take away your guns...so how am I making you a sitting duck? how is it unreasonable? why is it having an 100 reasonable?

also I never ever said take away guns but ban semis. also second amendment says " well regulated malitia"

    regulated is a key word.

100 round clips are silly, but an AR comes with a 30 round clip and they can be changed out in 2 seconds hardly more scarier than a few 30 round clips. The problem is when you start to limit clip sizes you have people come up with ridiculous numbers like 10. 10?? Hell that defeats the purpose of having a AR. They would not even be fun at the range anymore. And why the hell do you want to limit clip sizes on handguns?? The only handgun that comes with a some what large round capacity is the 9mm, hardly a weapon of mass destruction.

dude I just showed you why but you cant put up a decent reason on why a person should have 30 rounds on a hand gun.

so explain why should you need a 30 round clip.
