So what is everyone doing to bring in the new year?

I have some reservations about my own plans (no pun intended!) I am going to an Embassy Suites with a couple of g/f's, we have a room and everything. I'm a tad worried it will be us and a bunch of married couples, dancing the night away!!

The friend who made these plans is the same one who decided to take me to a certain club last weekend 'b/c she knows I like the brothers'. So we end up at this hip hop club which is really not my natural habitat. I am talking with my friend and this guy walks up to me and starts rubbing my back. No hello, no previous eye contact, just the walk up and rub. I'm standing there looking at my friend with a look of WTF? on my face and the guys is just rubbing away. Finally I tell him he nees to stop touching me. He stands there for a minute and walks off. As we were leaving the club a while later he chases us down outside and says 'wait! I forgot to give you my phone number!' I said 'you really don't need to do that.' To all the men who read this and think 'what is so wrong about any of that...?' puhleeze work on your game!!

Sorry for that bro who did that to you. He would not like it if you did it in front of his girlfriend. Make sure you have your peeps at your side.

I can't drink anyway AND I injured my leg skiing the day before Christmas (can't walk without crutches now), so I've accepted to attend to what will probably be an extremely quiet and fairly booring new years eve with some relatives.

New love is making me a romanctic dinner, then we are going out ballroom dancing at the local Sheraton with some friends of mine. It should be fun. :D

Enter the new year in church, then go celebrate the New Year, Nigerian Style. Nice music, crazy dancing, crazy stories, meat pie, Jollof rice, iyan, egunsi soup etc. I am really looking forward to this.

    Conversations........New Year's Eve.

:D Happy New Year's to those around the world already celebrating, and you don't need a red cent to be appreciative of your good health, friends, and loved ones!

Happy New Year's to all the beautiful white women on the board, and same to all the black men who love them! Things will be great, in 2008!
