Kind of like a cross between Jurassic Park, Lost and Swiss Family Robinson With just a hint of Avatar. I thought the premiere was interesting with a good blend of action and mystery to wet the appetite for more. If they keep it up, it could be a good show.
heard of this might have to check it out i fell off Fallen Skies tho..I may need to re-up on it this week
The premiere was okay. The concept of the show is good. I'll give it three or four episodes to try to actually hook me and if not I'm out.
once i started getting into Sarah Connor, they cancel it I do love Fringe tho time flies..i just remember watching the season finale
Yeah, Fox has a habit of putting on decent sci-fi action shows and then canceling them on short notice. Surprised Fringe is still on because of that. They had this one show on back in the day when the X-Files was still on the air called Space : Above and Beyond produced by the same people that did the X-Files that was about marines in the future fighting to protect the human race from a race of aliens hellbent on destroying mankind. That show had good ratings and they canceled it after only one season and worse yet ended the show on a cliffhanger should have/would have been resolved in the next season had they renewed it. Pissed off still to this day about that shit.
I remember that show. That's what I hate about prime-time. I got hooked on the show heroes but, it seemed like they got away from what made it good but, I still liked it. I don't even watch Fox anymore unless it's a football game.
Heroes stared off strong but after the second sesason it just started to go downhill. They messed up by keeping Sylar around and trying to make him the mainstay bad guy of the piece. They should have done something unique like introducing all new characters and circumstances each season, but still have a small number of characters from the first season to interact the new characters and provide sort of a link that to how they gained their abilities. Then had the show survived a couple extra seasons, that would have been the time to have Sylar come back more powerful and twisted than before.
Heroes was a great show even that with the time lost a little still was a lot better then many other shows there is so many that been cancelled that was good like sarah connor chronicles, Firefly, and so many other good shows
Yeah, Firefly is another big Fox blunder, but at least it had some loyal fans that kept it on the air when Fox initially tried cancelling it and Josh Whedon had enough directoral & writing pull from doing Buffy the Vampire Slayer to get a big screen movie made to tie up the lose end from when it finally did get cancelled. The shows Dollhouse with Eliaz Dushku & the Human Target can also go on the Fox decent show cancel list IMO.
what i hate is when the shows are cancelled after few episodes .. there is a few new now will see what will happen
No pun intended, but you read my mind on that one. It was very disappointing seeing that show fail the way it did.
This one didn't grab me - there wasn't a single memorable character, and I felt like we had seen it all before.
