Yeah I think so.

I am white British and my partner is a Ghanaian Ashanti, I love him very much. Before I met him I exclusively dated black men for about a year, not deliberately but because I had 'white blindness', I simply didn't notice white men being nice looking. But every time I see a good looking black man my head turns...it's bizarre. Loads of my friends over analyse and they say there must be a deep reason for it, some go as far as to call it racism or positive discrimination...ridiculous. Basically I just think black men are more attractive than white men (for different personal reasons) and I love my partner for the person he is not his colour, it's not that hard to understand!

I really love that. I've been through what you've been thru. I am a black man and my girlfriend is Cuban/Dominican. I love her to death and that wont change. Before her, i've mostly dated white women and a few latina women. I've dated a few black women and to be honest, every single one of them i detested but lets not deviate from THIS topic.
I didnt date white and hispanic women because i didnt find black women attractive; i just never happened 2 date them. White and hispanic ladies are my aphrodisiac and they always will be. A lot of people, especially black women, seem to have a problem with that and they call me names like"Tom", "white girl lover", "latina lover", "oreo"; u know those names. But i'd be a stung liar if i said it bothered me. I love women no matter their color. Basically, i find white and hispanic women extremely beautiful and thats not to say black women arent equally beautiful. I love my girlfriend for who she is and not her skin color.
