For me, I will look him in the eye when I pass, make sure there is eye contact. I wont' do that for other men, especially white men, I'll look down to the sidewalk to avoid any eye contact at all. I'll also smile a little if the eye contact feels right when our eyes meet.

    Hey

The best way to find out is to ask her. You'll know right away. It is 2007... some girls are not looking for a type...but a MAN...a GOOD man. Keep in mind...you could be gettin checked out and she is worried that you don't like white chicks...it goes both ways. =)

I could care less if a girl goes for black guys or not,if i like her i make my move, all the white girls i have been with never dated a black guy before. If you start looking for signs that she is into black guys then you'll never really go anywhere. Its the same as liking a girl but expecting her to make the first move, the chances of that happening are slim

I usually look for eye contact...and a smile...

If I get those two, I may go over and start a conversation....or just say "Hi" and ask them how they were doing...

..just to let her know that I don't mind white people, more specifically, white women..

that has been pretty successful for me....

some guys may need a bigger, more elaborate arsenal, to "bag" white chicks

    :)

I'm trying to be serious here

    :)

before asking her to drop her panties, I have to make peace and let her know I'm cool with it. I also have to see if she's "down" with it, also.

The women I met in my life, have been pretty useful with using their eyes and hair, to make first contact..

Then..of course...you have the ones who regress to high school antics, and start making jokes, tapping, or other playful ways of communicating..

Hmm, I suppose it would be important to keep in mind the surroundings one is in.

without going in to too much detail, I have had nurses become playful during surgeries, at the hospital I work at.. tapping...google eyes, buddy buddy, but you don't even know me, type of deals..

I've also seen some reach there hands, into the open portion of surgical gowns, to cop a feel on doctors..

..and I've also seen some female docs crack jokes about erect penises with catheters in them, that just would not go down..

That is usually a serious environment, but people get "playful" during times you wouldn't think they would.

The thread has kinda past it's expiry date, but I figure tis not redundant, as tis still likely to be an issue for many.

I tend towards the more subtle cues, such as eye contact and smiling, to let a BM know I'm interested. Mind you, I think the amount of grinning I do might not be THAT subtle!! *blush* Shhh! (I tend to hold off the knuckle-biting, teeth-licking, sexy swaggering deal until I'm closer to pouncing. Kidding. If I have to be that obvious, the guy's not got the social cues or interpersonal skills for me. Personally, I'd rather save my true brazenness for my long-term squeeze!)

Seriously though, eye contact should at least let you know that an approach won't be met with hostility or outright rejection. And smiles just welcome an approach..................................................... ;)

It's all in the attitude sir. I have dated black men simply on the ease of the conversation, and as a white woman and finding yourself ending up in the bedroom with a black man well...... :D :D :D

If she's playful with you, thats a good sign.

Hair and eyes and a smile are good ways to sense if so..

Sometimes, white girls don't typically go for black guys but you can be an exception.

I just go off of the vibes she gives me while interacting, then I take it from there.

I am curious to hear what would be the responses these girls gave when they were just asked that rather delicate question... A "Yes" can be interpreted as a "invitation" while a "No" would certainly make the person appear...oh well.
