Shit been real, but you know a lot of Americans always have to wait until athletes and celebrities to become affected by something to take it serious.

I was watching this unravel on my TL on twitter and I heard a player named Rudy Gobert contracted it is the reason why they suspended the season.

Until some kind of testing is available to the public to see who has it and doesn't I'm staying home for at least 2 weeks this is scary af.

He said they are fine. His son did a video saying he spoke with them and they are fine, which is good...

    Note what Tom also said:

'We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. '

Almost 100% of the people dying are old AND sick.

Most people who caught it, recovered.

There's no way Gobert gets tested for coronavirus and has it detected unless he at least had a fever or cough at some point.
The problem now is with so little testing taking place, we don't know what impact REPEATED exposure to CPVID-19 will have.

Keep downplaying this shit. Trump fucked up by not accepting the World Health Organization tests and now in a nation of 330 million, we've only had just over 4300 tested for COVID-19.

Contrast that to South Korea, a nation of 51 million that's had over 200,000 people tested.

This crap is worse than the flu and if you are vulnerable to upper respiratory illnesses, it could be lethal.
We're going to end up with hundreds of thousands if not millions of people ill because our POTUS doesn't want to know how many people are infected.
    Bad for ratings.

But that's his point it starts becoming real when it start touching the special people. When it's poor folk in China its an over there problem but when it starts hitting the wealthy you realize no one is safe.
And who cares if he's fine what's important is he's an indicator that this thing is spreading like wildfire.

So it's okay if we let you die if you're old and sick?? Jesus Christ.

BTW, the Hanks' reveal they caught COVID-19 in the USA, not Australia.

From what I understand all players got tested. (Money does that).

How are you going to compare the United States to South Korea? South Korea is right there in the epicenter of Asia.

They need to test way more than we do. We are low risk they are high-risk. But cases have slowed down.
    So calm down.

    Here are their stats..
    51 million people:

    South Korea

    Coronavirus Cases:

    7,869

    Deaths:
    66

    Recovered:
    333

    ACTIVE CASES

    7,470
    Currently Infected Patients
    7,416 (99%)
    in Mild Condition

    54 (1%)
    Serious or Critical

    Stop your hysteria, AB.

If experts in the field of medicine people who have dedicated decades of their lives to this are deeply concerned why shouldn't we all be deeply concerned?

Oh FFS, they DID NOT catch it in the U.S, Andreboba!

This is why I can't take you serious on this, you are always hysterical in nature or politicizing everything.

Tom caught it from a Chinese National who was staying in the same building where his hotel was.

And who the hell said, "it's okay if we let you die if you're old and sick??

    Are you crazy AB?
What is your malfunction right now? Calm the fuck down and stop putting words in my mouth.

No, it is not. Its not spreading any differently than what the flu does. Once again, more people get the flu so logic will tell you the flu spreads more than this does. Is that computing? Serious question.

As for poor folks, you have no idea who were infected in China. Why are you creating an additional drama storyline that isn't. People from all walks of life in Wuhan where coming down with it. It wasn't just the poor.

Furthermore, when President Trump ordered restricted flights from China to the U.S.A on January 31st, Schumer and Pelosi immediately put out statements saying he was being xenophobic. Biden said he was xenophobic and fear-mongering".

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Once again you don't do your due diligence or even use logic.

The story States that the government official does NOT name who he speaking about.

So whoever wrote the story is making the wrong deductions.

A reporter worth their salt would have checked the dates.

    They arrived on January 26th.

All reports have indicated that there is a 3 to 14 day incubation period, with symptoms showing up within 5 days.

Tom indicated that (on Thursday, March 5th) they felt unwell and got tested and the test results were positive, and shared that info yesterday.

Again, they were staying at the same place that Australia's first carrier was confirmed , who is a Chinese National.

'He was staying at Peppers Broadbeach, the very same hotel building where a 44-year-old Chinese national, who later became one of Australia's first cases of coronavirus, was staying"

Sixty-three-year-old actor announces they have caught the virus while filming in Australia and describes how it gave them 'chills and body aches'

If you have flu symptoms that you feel need hospitalization instead of home self care, when you go to the hospital, they'll do an instant flu test.

If you do not instantly test positive for the flu, you they may then test for the covid-19 flu virus which takes about 8 hrs to one day for results.

Furthermore, quarantining yourself for two weeks isn't really going to do much when things like this keep happening...
