Damn, less than 30 seconds have ticked off the clock in game 1 and Artest already has Pierce on the floor. It's going to be a long series for PP it appears...

The game was as close as I thought it would be.

Lakers need to win Game 2 because from there on, its going to get very tough.

With the Series going 2-3-2, that's going to be a lot of momentum for Boston in the middle of the series.

I expect to see a lot of things change by that time.

I say they win this next game, lose two in Boston, and win Games 5 and 6.

So if I understand, you're saying it's too early to call for a sweep?

Of course it is and the Lakers won at home I can't wait to see how different things are in Boston.

Its too early to call anything right now.

By the time we make it to Game 4, then we can make a fair assessment.

I honestly believe this series will end in 6 or 7.

The Lakers still have a lot of work ahead of them.

Ferry resigns as Cavs GM after five years at helm

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Danny Ferry has resigned as general manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers after five seasons.

Ferry's departure occurred two weeks after the club fired coach Mike Brown following the team's second-round loss to the Boston Celtics in the NBA playoffs. It comes as the team is making plans to try to re-sign two-time MVP LeBron James, who will be a free agent next month.

Ferry was in the final month of his contract.

The team said Friday assistant GM Chris Grant will take over for Ferry.

And yet, "The Lebrons" still aren't going to win a championship.

    Kobe Da Gawd >>>>>>>>

I knew the Celtics weren't ready for him.

I thought you hated the knicks? lol (Maybe it was another poster, im not sure). Trust me IB, he is knicks/nets bound. If he goes anywhere else, he's gunna have to win multiple championships. But if he goes to NY, all he has to do is win at least one and he will go down as a legend. LeChoke wants to be the biggest star in the nba, so he has to go to the biggest city.

LeChokes Stardom + New york's media behind him = Huge (Potentially a bigger name than MJ)

I like the way Kobe completely ignored Chris Rock. Kobe prolly sayin', nigga please, I aint got time for your unfunny jokes, I am focused on beatin' down Boston and getting my 5th ring.

Nah, Knicks are my o.g. team, but they suck ass and I'm tired of them never winning.

I thought he might go because of Jay-Z, but after seeing that article I mentioned, I wasn't so sure. It would be nice...
