This thread is like Goodreads for me. LOL.

I enjoy reading peoples' thoughts on books they read. That being said, I understand that's time consuming, so even a rating system would be good. I like to hear what people have to say about what they read.

I know I'm guilty of doing it. Sometimes I do mention when a book sucks though. lol I'll try to do better.

You would be the other one I was thinking of when I wrote that. LOL.

But I think there are others, too. And I'm even guilty of it at times.

I just like to "hear" what people think of the books they read.

Currently reading Tolstoy's Anna Karenina... and I feel like that counts for the last three books I've read, as it's the equivalent of about 4 books :p

I can't make up my mind about it, because it's well written, interesting and vivid storytelling, but I'm almost finished and I'm realising it's actually not going anywhere. It's like a series of events with no real climax.

    Anyone else read it? Thoughts?

Yeah I was forced to see it last spring/summer. IT WAS LOOOOOOONNNNNGGG
for absolutely no reason. Not my cup of tea at all. If you want a really long book to read that actually grabs you and is every much a classic check out either a Tale of Two Cities or my personal favorite Gone With The Wind

Its more my gf than me, she was a literature major in undergrad so we spent a lot of Saturdays over the summer reading to each other either in the park or at the beach.

lol I hope so. Even though the circumstances aren't ideal I'm betting it will be a lot of fun

My favorite stories were from the bible when I was a child. Especially during Christmas time. I would read a bunch of them before Christmas eve with my grandmother, it was a lot of fun
