Movies with BM/WW Couples

Came across this on Netflix its from 2018 Candy Jar

She is a the daughter of a working class mother with dreams of going to Harvard. He is the son of an influencial State Senator with aspirations of getting into Yale. They both believe that being the captain of their high schools debate team will go a long way towards achieving those goals. When forced to work together though they find something more.

A middle aged French bureaucrat escapes to Brazil where a destructive affair with a boy forces her to learn to live in the present.

 

Looks very erotic, but has all the hallmarks of a "bored, staid white woman has sensual and sexual awakening in the arms of an emotionally charged, highly sexual and volatile, impoverished black man" movie. Will she return to her previous life? Will she continue living life "on the edge"? Or will she try something else altogether?

 

Yeah we posted and talked about this movie when it first came out. Still one of my favorite rom-coms. Highly recommended as a date movie with your girl.
