Money woes may be the nemesis that defeats James Bond

The forthcoming "James Bond" film has been stalled at the paperwork stages....

And all because of The Great Daemon God, RED INK!

Let's face it, when a major motion picture studio has had only ONE release for the entire year-to-date ("Hot Tub Time Machine" is the *ONLY* MGM release to come out in over half a year now..) things DON'T look so hot for said studio.


To make a long story short, MY take on who should combine their economic & artistic clout to assume ownershio of MGM..


The triumvirate of Harpo Enterprises (Yes, *that* "Harpo", as in Oprah Winfrey; What better way for her to break out into the inevitable next step of having feature films as another notch on her gunbelt?), Lucasfilms (It'll maybe help Ol' George get his creative mind off Asteroid 9 [The "SWars" version of 'Cloud 9]..and start reaching out to do NON-intergalactic fare for a change..), and The Starz Organization..



Just as long as MGM *doesn't* fall into the hands of Time Warner...
