Crashed into the ocean, and the black box could very well be destroyed.

Of course I didn't mean for days. I simply meant that when it first went off radar, it didn't cause panic... Until it didn't come back on.

It is a huge tragedy and I hope it get solved.

There is a body of water in the Atlantic Ocean whose boundary runs from Miami, up to Bermuda, down to Puerto Rica and then back over to Miami........ In that triangle of water HUNDREDS of boats, planes and ships are said to have inexplicably vanished during the 40's, 50's and early 60's.
The earth is a spherical globe....On the exact opposite side of the earth, relative to that triangle, along the same lateral and longitudinal lines, there exist another triangle with a similar historical account of disappearances.......When the 777 jet liner veered left after its last radio transmission, that body of water appeared to be directly ahead in its path......

    ^^ Arch, that is creepy!

Although, I am starting to believe anything is possible. Everything is too ironic and nothing seems far fetched anymore.

Interested to see the story unfold!

    Another theory:
By now, everybody has heard about
    how two passengers using European
    passports, stolen from tourists in
    Thailand suggest that the greatest
    likelihood for the disappearance of
    Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 from
the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur
to Beijing, China and that these two
    people using these stolen passports
    were suicide bombers.

Family and friends awaiting their loved
    ones at Beijing International Airport
complain that they were "treated like
dogs" by Malaysia Airlines, when they
were not informed of any problems
with the flight until several hours after
it was supposed to have landed.

Seeing the radar playback of the
moments leading up to the plane's
    disappearance, one may forgive
Malaysia Airlines for not being more
forthcoming, in this case - because the
radar playback is not only baffling, it
shows two distinct anomalies, as pointed
    out by intrepid citizen-reporter and
    YouTube popstar, DAHBOO7.

The radar playback depicts dozens of
planes in flight over the region at the
time. The first peculiarity is seen in the
lower left of the screen. A round object
appears in the vicinity of Flight 370 (and
amid several others), which the radar
does not automatically "read" as airplane.

Suddenly, this round object takes the
form of a "plane" on the radar screen
and it accelerates at a rate of speed that
must be at least five times the speed of
    the surrounding planes, heading eastward,
over the South China Sea. Then, just as
suddenly - the object stops and appears
    to hover in place.

During this same time, there is some
evidence that shortly after crossing the
Malaysian Peninsula, Flight 370 was in
trouble. The radar shows that the plane
took three sharp turns: right, left, right
at an altitude of 35,000 feet and at a
speed of 473 knots - just before the
radar readings instantly go from 35,000
feet to 0, with the plane still traveling at
that speed for a few moments more, at
0 feet altitude before it vanishes from
the screen. As of this writing, this plane
remains missing, even though the sea is
    relatively shallow where it disappeared.

As for the other object described here, it
disappears, as well. There have been no
reports about this object - or plane, or what
have you; whether it was a commercial
airliner, like the many others in flight over
the region during the final moments preceding
the disappearance of Flight 370 - but the
object in question certainly didn't behave like
    a commercial airliner.

Regardless of whether this mystery object had
anything to do with the demise of of Flight 370
    - what IS evident is that the radar readings
shown in this clip captured signals from what
for now, can only be termed a UFO.

    This is what happened........

Somebody at the station forgot to enter the security code of "4-8-15-16-23-42".

A burst of EMP shot out and sucked the plane out into the middle of the ocean 700 miles off course.

The plane broke in two and landed on a small island.

Some people have survived and..........Wait, that sounds familiar?!

It's true that individuals and such tend to disappear without a trace, but that's no reason to assert lazy conclusions based on really absurd ideas. As one would say, "There's a logical explanation for everything."

Sadly, many people are too quick to jump to conclusions without having the slightest idea what they are talking about. When you lack knowledge on something, realize that it's not tethered to anything beyond our comprehension. Reason is what we have. Let's exercise it.

    My thoughts as well.

Maybe not right away. It took 2 years to find the wreckage of that French plane that crashed into the ocean.

I haven't read anything past the first page yet, so my apologies if this was said already.

    Professor Star,
Until the world can account for a debris field or any other material traces of this aircraft,.... Can you really dismiss this woman thought process as lazy....She was merely reacting to one of a number of unproven theories put forward.....

I find them to be lazy because we are too quick to come to conclusions and not take the time to look into the matter at hand. Sure, we may not be there at present and there have been mysteries that have gone unsolved. However, with more abilities and technological prowess, we can find the whereabouts, even if it takes another century or so.

And speaking of which, the post was a response from her's yes, but it's more directed at your post regarding the idea of missing ships and planes and people could be the result of something more mysterious.

What is undeniable is that some factual history existed before you and I were born:

    The Devil's (Bermuda) Triangle facts
    Friday, October 15, 2010
The Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and surface vessels allegedly disappeared mysteriously.
Popular culture has attributed these disappearances to the paranormal or activity by extraterrestrial beings.
It is also known as the Devil's Triangle.
Over two hundred separate disappearances have been attributed to the BermudaTriangle, including massive vessels such as the USS Cyclops and the SS Marine Sulphur Queen.
The disappearance of Flight 19 ranks at the very top of Bermuda Triangle lore. On December 5, 1945, five Navy Avengers vanished while on a routine training mission over the Atlantic.
One of the most cited explanations in official inquiries as to the loss of any aircraft or vessel is human error. Whether deliberate or accidental, humans have been known to make mistakes resulting in catastrophe, and losses within the Devil's Triangle are no exception.
The area of the Devil's Triangle is said to be around 440,000 miles of sea. This is an area much larger than Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma combined.
Some of the more fantastic theories include alien abductions, time warps, strange magnetic fields, and black holes
In various oceans around the world, rogue waves have caused ships to sink and oil platforms to topple. These waves, until 1995, were considered to be a mystery and/or a myth.
There have been approximately One Thousand lives taken in the past century, apparently caused by the Devil's Triangle

The problem with this is lacking consistency. There have been planes and ships which have made those treks across the Bermuda Triangle and returned without a problem. So obviously, those that didn't, there's a fairly logical explanation to suggest that it's not something otherworldly or extra-dimensional.

We cannot feign ignorance and jump to lazy conclusions, Arch.

Another factor in the sinking of ships in this area or every sea and ocean was saline density. If a body of water in the ocean has little to no saline density and has the composition of fresh water, a ship can and will sink rather quickly due to the construction and metallurgy of the hull.

But Gorath, for at least 4O years we have had sonar and other devices to detect metal at great depths....And they were used by the military in the search for those lost vessels....They found nothing beyond previously mapped wrecks....Something unexplained went on in that body of water during that time......
