I'm about people making ACCURATE statements, not bullshitting. There may be hostility between Mexican gangs against Black folk which has resulted in violent/deadly confrontations, but how the hell does that extrapolate into genocide?? People shoot off their mouths too often and don't look where they're aiming. 'I figured you'd deny everything and come to the Mexicans rescue'?? GTFOH. This is what I'm talking about. Embellishing to make a point destroys the argument you were originally trying to make. How the hell do you get here from my criticizing the POTUS in another thread for being too middle-of-the-road and my partially defending Dr. West that now somehow I'm an apologist for racial violence by Mexicans against Blacks?? Focus, ArmyRanger.
If we talk negatively about them here on wwbm.com, they might call in our debt or dump bonds onto the market.
Fake gold...U.S. mayor getting permission to allow immigration from the DOJ, genocide against African Americans??? The U.S. abandoned the gold standard decades ago as being an ineffective tool for controlling monetary policy. Monetary policy at this juncture is aimed at ensuring full employment. Currency is backed by the good faith of the federal government and not by gold, much the same as the rest of the world. It would be interesting to see any credible reporting of gold, or the lack of it, being used to satisfy debt through transferring fake gold, or providing leverage to allow the unlawful immigration of foreign citizens. There is reason for concern about our burgeoning debt, but foreign ownership of the U.S., IMO, is not one of them. The U.S. is still the engine that powers the world. The relationship is symbiotic and the Chinese aren't going to do anything that's in opposition to their own economic interests. Also, don't forget that Asian countries have experienced significant economic problems before. Two decades ago the Japanese were seen as invincible. The too, purchased land in America at the time. Later, through economic problems in their country, and most recently natural disasters, they are struggling. Just 10 years ago China was awash in debt. American private equity funds, among others, bought Chinese debt for 10 to 30 cents on the dollar and made huge profits when the economy improved. But, will it maintain this position as the middle class grows, as they need more resources and its citizens demand more freedom and democracy. They have serious problems currently within their manufacturing infrastructure now. So, personally I'm not so concerned about them in the long term. On the issue of genocide, my understanding of genocide is that it's the systematic destruction of a racial, political or cultural group. The fact that a gang that originated in prison, has taken its prison politics of racial separatism and drug control to the streets, is not surprising. The fact that the gang has killed non-gang members is troubling also. But, doesn't amount to genocide. They simply don't like Black Americans and don't want them living in their neighborhoods, or selling drugs there, which was the starting point for the violence in the beginning. Their agenda is to control the drug trafficking in their area, much as is done by apposing gangs in many cities. The racial politics of one gang also suggests nothing about the attitudes of other Mexicans. There's no universal dislike of African Americans that I have witnessed, certainly not in my area of the country anyway. If that was the case, I guess I wouldn't have been a guest at a party last night where I was the only black person. Not only was a well received but people bent over backwards to make sure that I enjoyed myself.
1973 to be precise. I agree that there is NO WAY WHATSOEVER to generalize about an entire ethnicity based on the behavior of their most pathological segment of their population. Let me make it absolutely clear that I am not apologizing for these actions, but I appreciate you putting them in context.
