I know that's real and let's not be fooled because just because you have a "thing" or preferences FOR men or women of another race/ethnicity doesn't mean that you don't or can't still have racial prejudices as well! I say that about all races and genders.
Some of the most prejudiced people I've met are those who are dating outside of their ethnic groups. and I've Asian female/white male who said the most vile things about every Latinos and blacks. White man/black woman where he simply just went off on black people and she just nodded and I've seen it with black men/ white women where the man who is dating a white woman would just talk about white folks like she wasn't even in the room. I've met a white woman like that as well. When i asked the black guy why he would say the things he said being that he was with a white woman he just said that it was different. She wasn't like other white people or fill in the ethnic origin. People make excuses for their ignorance and selfishness all of the time. It's like those missionaries that run half a world a way to help the unfortunate but will step right over the same unfortunate if they were a block away from their home.
I've always being a firm believer in the idea that your partner has not much say in your inherent racial tolerance.

Another thing that's hypocritical about the world in general, is the people who talk about 'practicing safe sex' and 'knowing their partner well' here in the states, but doing the exact opposite when they travel overseas.
