I got to agree to this(your last statement) he did beat up a white person and threaten her. He has more hate for that woman than any one. the opposite of that saying is also true. Just because you hate everything doesn't mean you have to hate everything uniquely. right? I think you gave a perfect example here of someone who only hates one color though. You'll never seem them bad mouth the rest of the colors. just that one color.

 

I think you're over narrowing the concept of racism, and I don't think there's any reason for that.

I don't think you can find a single racist throughout history who hasn't also maintained another form of hatred.

In some certain modern all-White communities formed by White flight that happen to be filled predominately with racists, they frequently find themselves without any objects for hate in their new lily-white communities. I've come across a couple communities like that, and what they do is redirect their hatred elsewhere. At the gay-acting kid in town. Or the single mother. Or the poor family.

It's not like racism is justifiable, or reasonable, or based in logic. Take away the object of any racist's hatred, and they'll find another.

I have to agree with this.
There are a few different psychological "reasons" behind racism, but in most cases - like you said, if the primary object is removed - and another will be found... thats just simply how many of these people operate.
There must be someone to hate and feel superior to - anything that sticks out in their communities will then do.

 

Throughout this long conversation, I have thought to myself what does Danny glover have to say. I am betting he says nothing and probably will never work with gibson on another lethal weapon movie.

Unless Hollywood turns away Woody Allen and Roman Polanski,it would be hypocritical to place Mel on front of the bus. All three had done horrible acts.

 

No to mention Tim Allen is a convicted drug dealer and toy story 3 did nearly 60 million on opening weekend.

 

There is a HUGE difference between selling drugs, and anally raping a 13-year-old, seducing your step daughter, or punching out teeth of your child's mother while she's holding the baby.

Tim Allen served his time, and THEN he did stand up, leading to his career in acting. He belongs nowhere near the same league as Polanski, Allen or Gibson

 

Screw Hollywood, I'll put him under the bus. Polanski and Allen can go, too.

 

I don't ever think I would have read all those phrases in the same sentence. Sounds like a list of evil things to do.

 

I don't think Gibson is as bad as Allen. All he did was get exposed for what a lot of white people do in their homes when no one is listening. He had a racist tirade. He didn't hurt the community like Allen did.

 

and don't forget that he hit is partner, and to top it off she was holding their child. he may not of hurt the community, but he still hurt someone which is as bad and he needs to be held accountable for it
