That's a good idea. I didn't have any planned as of now, but on Friday I registered for the Rock and Roll Brooklyn Half again this October. I'll also be doing the Marine Corp 10k again which is also in October. I'll look out for a 5k.
People rather do 1 on 1 meet ups than a group thing.... Another forum I'm on has meet ups in the dmv every few months Itd be cool if you guys did the same but people be acting like they too busy n shit I'm always down as long as you guys give me Atleast a 2 weeks notice
Yeah, I'd be tempted to do one on one and/or small groups took just to avoid all of the coordinating. I'm not opposed to a group meet
Agreed. There seems to be a bunch of us in the northeast between DC, Philly, NYC and Boston. I'm certainly game if any others are open to it.
Just texting with a couple of my boys last night when one says... We should get out of town soon for a bit. just like that we're planning to invade Boston for 2 days in later part of June.
They are having a meet up June 18th in ATL but unfortunately I cannot make it since a coworker already scheduled vacation that day but they also just made a meet up for Chicago later this year. Wwbm family need to get it together, I propose a Australian meet up!
That's a shame you can't make it out. Hopefully it'll work in your favour next time. LOL. I along with all the other Aussie women would not be objecting to that proposal.
Been trying to get out of the house more and going to a few meetup groups. Haven't made a real connection with anybody. I really just observe and take mental notes of people. What I hate about it is the flaky ass people who week after week who RSVP a meetup and never show. I'm like what the fuck is the point unless maybe it's the groups host trying to inflate the groups activity to attract even more members.
Ive met up with a few folk from these parts and tried to organise a vegas get together in 2010...only 2 members showed.
