I'm not saying that it's a bullshit arrest, but "obstruction of an officer" is a commonly used charge to justify a suspicious arrest.
From Hammer Time to slammer time. Police obstruction is serious. However, I saw no obstruction here. The arresting officer should've asked more questions. This, of course, may be a case of mistaken identity. It happens.
They way it sounds from the reporting, there is no mistaken identity. You don't just go up to random be and do that.
about damn time Dublin police get some light shinned on them! When I lived in Pleasanton(neighboring city to Dublin) it was like playing russian roulette whether id get pulled over or not just to go to Church or someones house which were in Dublin. Interesting enough, after the limo tint on the windows I stopped getting pulled over.
