I agree with karmacoma in that kymwm made a pretty respectful entrance onto the board. He also made his fantasy the subject of his entrance which made it fair game. I think the only thing kymwm is quilty of is not reading before typing. Had he read more of the boards he may have realized that his fantasy represents racism to some folks. In defense of the original poster, I have no problem with him asking the question I think he was overall respectful in his post. He however has to understand that most people here will take offense to the entire premise of this fetish.

I also think it doesn't help newbees that this particular site has a serious "multiple personality issue"... The personal ads are mostly sex driven while the forums are mainly lighthearted fun or serious discussions.

Sometimes I think that the term racism is used a little too freely.

Sterotyping, however stupid it may be when it comes to individuals, doesn't always carry the hatred with it. We sterotype people all the time, doctors are educated ( hopefully ), politicians are honest? etc.. The important thing is that we respect each other.

It is people, and not a fantasy, that can be respectful or disrespectful.

This fantasy could be either disrespectful or respectful depending on those involved, that is true of anything.

Racism on the other hand always has a very ugly hatred in it. I once was directed to a racist site by accident and it literally sickened me to my stomach. Those people are real racists and live their lives filled with hatred. I would pity these people if it weren't for all the suffering they have caused for so many.

Let us not dilute the word and lose its meaning. Save it for those who really deserve it.

 

The thing with hate is that it consumes you, just like love does. Only it consumes with horrible negative feelings, what a horrible way to live your life.

Racist people bring their children up to be racist and basically ruin those children, not only b/c thier teachings are so wrong, but b/c their children will most likely live thier lives under that same nasty cloud. Why would you want to do that to your child? It nver fails to amaze me that someone could be so brain-washed that they would let their children's lives be tainted b/c of it.
