Now now just to claify, I was just kidding. I honestly think my last name is OK. Not sucky, but eh. And no I'm not gonna steal your last name but what would I have to do to get it? LOL

Now you know that answer's easier than putting a bullet between the eyes of a puppy at an 1" distance.

Yes, I would take my husband's last name. I'd still use my maiden name for my writing, though. What I'd also do since I'd like to keep my maiden name as part of my name without hyphenating it, is replace my middle name with my old last name.

Hahah, that's what you should do....enjoy the years you have now and seek out a career before thinking about taking the last name of someone else. :smt053

Well, i am partial to last names that begin with M, so i suppose there's always a possibility...;)

    1. My life doesn't revolve around finding a husband. I know, since I have a vagina, that shocks you.

    2. The word "feminazi" does not belittle or phase me. By using it, i know you were trying to shame me for not subscribing to your gender ideals. It failed. I could give a shit less about gender ideals. You're new here. You'll learn.

    3. If the majority of the men you know all subscribe to the idea that an intelligent woman who knows the value of her worth and prefers a partner, an equal, and not a caretaker should be ashamed for that, then fine. Do tell me where you live so I can inform the other amazing ladies i know where the little boys hang out.

    4. Have a nice day. :)

It's for your own benefit. :) Besides, I rather you be able to maintain a level of self-sufficiency when you're by yourself for a few good years.

Any man who thinks that's such a huge problem, isn't worth being with in the first place.
Whether we take our husband's last name or not should be of little importance. After all, we ARE agreeing to marry the guy and spend the rest of our lives with them, and (in most cases) have their children. Fucking hell. Names have little to do with anything.

Kid's 22. Once he gets a few more years in the grown-up world he'll catch on. ;)

Ahhh..that explains it. He's still a child. He should leave this topic to the grown ups. :smt043
