I agree. And in a good share of her videos the main man character is a white man. It' like she's slowly converting over. She starts off with white men, slowly throws in a cuple of mixed men, when does she go all dark? I'm JK, it just seems like there are a lot of white men in her videos. I've always notice that and thought it was strange but if that's what she likes then, so be it.

All in All Im not saying she is not into brothas, Im saying she is into white & latino guys more. Look at both of her movie roles and how many times she has a white guy as the love interest in her videos. And that is typical of alot of biracial celebrities.
I don't understand how you can equate her movie roles and videos with her own personal preference. Sooo many times on this forum its been stated that there is pressure in hollywood to keep away from bm/ww pairings. If that's the case, then her movies/videos reflect societal pressure, not her own personal choices. Mariah is no different than any other entertainer who wants to please her producers/investors/mainstream public - so she takes the 'easy' way and does what's expected, which is not necessarily what she would choose if she were in charge. It's like saying Will Smith doesn't really like bw b/c he never stars with them in his movies.

Fnny that is only so with stars that is not in control, mariah is in control, she chose the white guy in her heartbreak video she sid so herself I'll direct you to whatever website it is (but it will take a while.) But she is in control. And about her producers, investors, and mainstream public mariah is on the black entertainment branch, she has alot of brothas & sistas that are her fans, she mainly works with black producers since she does more music (particularily R&B, black music.) than movies, she has an black audience. What you are saying is similar to what critics and nay-sayers said about in underestimating the black movies not doing well at the box office and boom tyler perry's "Why did I get married?" was number one with more than $20 mil, and is still doing good at the box office. She has no kind of pressure like that fnny. And it is like I said before for a star to give in to societal & hollywood pressure to purposely stay away from interracial of that sort is also giving in to racism because that is the MAIN! reason why there is pressure, and for the ones who are aware and know that shame on them as I have always said, 2007 someone doesn't like it point em out to the public (especially the balck public.) and they will be under fire like any other. The weight of evidence would very much suggest that Mariah is more into white guys, or at least lighter guys. But so what? Anyone getting upset about that, or suggesting she needs more black men in her life is being extremely hypocritical.
As far as skin color goes WITHIN THE RACE that doesn't matter to me like it does some others but it would be nice to see her with a brotha for a change, IF that's her choice of course. 8)
