Alright, I guess I was the one bound to bring this up (unless someone did it long ago) Here is my question to you folks: Is manhood, according to you, directly proportional to a man`s sexual preference? Heterosexual VS Homosexual I`ve had many gay friends, mostly when I lived in Europe...I can honestly say that one of those guys, according to me, was probably the most MANLY guy I`ve ever met...and I`m not only talking physically (he was built like Tmass ), but more importantly about how honest he was, fearless as well and most of all, loyal!! I`m anxiously waiting for your two cents ladies and gents!!! And feel free to shoot...but only rubber bullets pleez!!!
Before I answer this..how is New Orleans these days? I'm fairly new so I don't know if this question has been asked. I feel for NO, so many poor people got dissed at the end of the day, but that's another post. I can honestly tell you that it doesn't matter. I have a lot of gay friends at work and outside at well. Masculinity, some are 6'5, 6'6 work out everyday. Really healthy. And you're right, extremely honest and loyal. The women at work love them. We usually have an agreement, no black jokes to me, and I won't throw any gay jokes to you. It's just playing around. At the end of the day, the women at work know that these guys aren't trying to take you bed. There's about four women that know that *I* am if I get the chance. That's the difference. Other than that..it doesn't matter. I hope I'm understanding the premise of this post, but I'm typing this out anyway. Black Tiger
Hey Black Tiger... Thanks for your input... I can see that the subject is "popular", not many responses so far...c`mon guys!!!!! let us know what you think about this "sensitive" subject about your testosterone level!! New Orleans is recovering, Tiger...sloooooooooooooooooowly, as goes everything that is done in "Lousy Ana", but it is recovering...many areas unfortunately still look devastated as if the hurricane came a month ago, not a year ago! The city still has this unique soul though..and the gay guys on Bourbon street are gayer than ever Peaaaaace
The short definition of homosexuality is the sexual attraction to people of the same sex. This would imply to a certain extent, that a homosexual man would only be attracted to men that have traits of masculinity. Therefore, “Manhood” as you call it, is not directly proportional to one's sexual attraction to women [in the case of men that is].
I'd had posted but I don't know much about it. I have one gay friend and he is very effeminate. But when reading this post, I suddenly thought of Alexander the Great and other gay very manly men, so I guess history shows it all.
oh, I think the man who plays/likes to play the woman role develops or already has , who knows , effeminate style, while the one who's playing the man is manly.
You are right, the effeminate gays bother me a little, because it's a little over the top. But they are who they are. The way I feel, I can't totally slam them. I'm black, I have no choice. I'm not saying that they HAVE a choice, but an option that I don't have. You know what I mean. One of my co-workers is totally manly, but listens to showtunes ALL DAY. Go figure. Totally Brokeback Mountain fan. But a really nice guy. I want to phrase this the right way..I'm not gay. If you are so be it. I can tell most of the time who are and who aren't, but PLEASE stop going over the top to make it obvious. I know. I don't diss you for it. A lot of the gay guys I know, you know they are gay, but don't blatantlytell you so. And they are the cool ones. And they are the masculine types, but you know. That's what I meant. Peace out. BT
Ok but what exactly is "laying with a man like a woman"?? So what if a man lays with a man like...a man? then what? One of the reasons why I started this thread...I played on a soccer team at a semi-professional level for a long time before...and as you all know, in sports it`s all about MACHO big men...but I noticed that a few guys I knew were gay, just couldn`t be open about it bcoz they just looked "too-manly" for that fact to be believed (and even less accepted) by the rest of the team! Apparently it is the same thing in the NFL, NBA and probably other leagues...
