My entire house is my lady lair. Except for my son's room, and I wouldnt even open the door to that pit if my life depended on it.

I think he'll need a backhoe to clean it out when he finally moves to his own place.

I should find some pics of my bedroom and my "library"

If I can remember how to do this right.

In the bedroom, I've since changed out bedding, a couple of lamps and added a leaf-green microfiber chair in the shape of a leaf

You're welcome. There are still some changes I'd liike to make, but overall,I love my house. It's peaceful and decorated mostly in greens, browns, and other sort of natural colors. I'ts a mix of arts & crafts style and asian style, which really complement one another quire well if you carry through a color or a theme. I love to decorate (like you couldnt tell that already) and I hve a bit of a knack for it, I'm told.

In this pic, you can see a bit of the mountains I view every day...but it was high summer and some of the foliage blocked the view of Pikes Peak from this angle

And in the other pic is a room I want desperately to repaint, but I'm not up for doing that alone these days, I want a green, sort of a green darker than my bedroom and lighter than an olivey green

The bedroom has a multi-colored slate floor, which I love.

You do have a great eye for decorating. I love how you decorated your rooms.

I lived in Denver for 6 months, several years ago, and I have to say that every day I miss leaving my house and seeing mountains. It's the one reason that Denver felt like home to me.

I would love to be able to see that view every day!

Thanks...and because I had a lot of years when things were tight I learned how to do it on a budget. Of course, I did splurge enormously on a few pieces, but they make the rest look better.

I think a Lady Lair for me would be a whole room that's a closet with a nice comfy sofa in it.

    My Books .
    My DVD selection (Film student).
A work area that is somewhat seperated from the room and great space to work at (big desk) with computer.
    Personal pictures.
A big flat screen (somewhat big- I know "big" means "huge" in the United States :smt110 ).
Xbox 360 for my boyfriend mainly. (I like the Kinect :smt003 ).
    A big sofa to relax.
The room has to be modern and light, very well decorate (me<-- loves interior design!).
    Paintings.
Backround lights to make the room more comfortable.
And our "movie wall" to pull out from the top to watch movies with the projector : )
    - A projector.

I would like to have sports paraphernalia in there with a comfy sofa and chairs to watch games.

A home movie set-up in one corner
    gym set up in another.
A bar area w complete set up
    great stereo system
    classic arcade games
A computer area as well of course
A nice reading area w room for all my books
Lots of green plants everywhere and a waterfall thingy somewhere, love the sound.
